Huh Darren?

I'd put Welcome to Hollywood above Retrospectacle, that's for sure!

Hmmm...Tough call. They're so different. Some of the tunes on Retro have become favorites of mine - they're just dated now, so it's hard to favor one over the other. If someone held a gun to my head, I'd probably say Palookaville is my favorite Burtnik record of all time, but that would be a really close call.

This is EASY for me. I can only rank 8, because the rest I dont like at all.

8) Retrospectable- Glen Burtnik
7) Back To The World - DDY
6) Girls With Guns - Tommy Shaw
5) Palookaville - Glen Burtnik
4) Ambition - Tommy Shaw
3) Boomchild - DDY
2) Seven Deadly Zens- Tommy Shaw
1) WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD - Glen Burtnik***** EASY WINNER****

*** 7 Deadly Zens & Welcome To Hollywood are soooooooo far ahead of the pack its unbelieveable.
*** Lawerence's solo stuff is brutal, as is Desert Moon, and What If

I forgot about Shaw/Blades. Their Japan release would eaisly be my # 3. 'How Does It Feel To Be Used' is one of my all time favorite songs. Why would that song not be on their American release??? Anyway, Shaw/ Blades Hallunication would be well well ahead of DDY's Boomchild.

I dont care too much for Glen's Heros & Zeros. I own the CD, but I probably have only listened to it 4 or 5 times. It did nothing for me.

Ime still to hear Welcome To Hollywood so judgement is still out......only heard Gowans live CD Homefields and the JY solo Cds were awful, especially the monstrosity with Jan Hammer, Hammer should stick to writing theme tunes to 80s police shows.

Retrospectacle has some great songs on it namely Someday, A Womans Point Of View, Roar and the Creme De La Creme Rivers Of Fire my top ever written Glen song.

Hey Darren, I'm not a school teacher, my spelling is to bad for that! Many, many moons ago, before computers, I use to trade tapes and records, thru mail. HAd like a pen pal (for lack of better word), where ecah month we would send a list out to people in this group, and they would pick from your list (you would do same), and yu would mail them a copy of what they wanted. Since it was by regular mail I but my opinion by number, then later a grade.

Still have a habit of doing this. Someone could have 4 cds, I list them in order of likeing, but my favorite one by the that person, I may only like ok, so I could give them a B- or so.
Old habits die hard.
But I work for Abita Springs Water Company (Abitaman is our logo), I am in sales.-ERIC :)

Sorry to be picky but Shaw/Blades is not a solo album so therefore is disqualified.
My favourite is Tommy Shaw - 7 deadly zens
