Yes kids.
January Issue has finally reached these shores and I got a nice review of Dennis' DVD for your reading leisure.
As keyboard player and sometime lead vocalist with US pomp rockers Styx'DDY was responsible for the bands more defining moments than the casual eye may have discerned.D has played Pilate on Broadway and composed a muscal version of the Hunchback, and after acrimoniously leaving styx in 1999,his carreer has travelled down the singew-songwriter route. To have interpreted his best known songs with orchestra choir and rock band was perhaps an inevitable move.As befitting the man who sang Babe,D is well suited to the role of silver-haired manilow-esque crooner,he's even taken on an unnerving visual resemblence to Blue Peter presenter Peter Purves (any of you folks know this fella ?).This double concert set ...........(a little bit of trax on the DVD).
4* out of 5.
Review by Dave Ling of classic rock magazine.

Thanks for the transcribe, Gr8.

Here is the homepage for Mr. Purves. I, for one, see no resemblence. This guy looks, to me, like every other newsman on TV.

Thanks gr8dane for posting the review. (I haven't seen it anywhere before).

LOL, he doesn't look like Peter Purves at all.

Okay after checking out the site (thanks Bugsy), I guess if you have white hair you are considered to look like the guy.

Again, thanks for the review
