I'm having a great time in England but we failed to go out for
St Patty's Day, I even brought my green shirt over so I wouldn't get pinched lol. actually forgot it was st pats day.
tonight is a hugeeeeee night for me and D, we're seeing Dare perform in Manchester and also in Bradford the following night, I have never seen them live and can't wait. We're meeting up with a few ppl from MR notice board so that will be cool too.
hope you all are doing well
take care

Hi suite-
What can I say, Dare was just as good live as they are in studio, Darren's voice is so friggen beautiful he is fantastic in concert and was a dream come true for me to see them, I never thought I would be able to, let alone having a beer with him, being invited as guests to the rest of the concerts so we attended 3, we hung out with the band for about an hour 1/2 after the last show in Wales drinking laughing talking, I mentioned what one of my fav songs were and what it did for me, I got to the point where i said, "you don't understand what this song means to me it has helped me carry on after a bad marriage, it's so positive he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him and said in my ear....Yes I do know I wrote the song and whats so great about you saying that is you really feel my music and thats awesome..I continued with I knew you wrote it for your son, and it's awesome you can see your son in yourself, my dad wasn't able to see me in him and I'm just like him...he said..omg your going to make me cry now lol...that was so cool talking to him about something that has affected me so personally through his writing and singing, funny thing was it wasn't suppose to make that album, he almost didn't add it.
Richard Dews (acoustic guitar)is an awesome guitarist he is so animated and and makes all kinds of faces, i told him he was a photographers playground lol so easy to capture great shots of which I did, omg the pictures I have are fantastic I gave Darren an album with all the pictures I shot of them as a thank you, they loved the pics.
I loved every min spent with them, this concert was the best I have ever attended, Asia rocked the house as well especially on the last night, they even pulled DARE on stage for the last song "Heat of The Moment" Geoff Downes is an unbelievable keyboardist what style....and the madman himself, Chris Blades...holey moley what a drummer....he is perfection.
Darren and I grew even closer as we were commented as "the couple going mad in the front row" lol He is so much fun to be with and we sang till we didn't have voices to one another all the songs that bonded us to begin with, what memories....we didnt' want it to ever end
and thanks babe for the greatest time! your the best.
HOpe all is well with everyone here on the board.
