Styx at Speedstreet

Well it looks like I'll be checking out the new styx line-up live after all. The late May Speedstreet concert in Charlotte is going to be a FREE show. Speedstreet happens every May in uptown Charlotte. The weeklong festival is tucked in between the Nextel all-star race and the Coca Cola 600 weekends.

They typically have several lesser known and local bands during the week and one or two 'name' acts towards the weekend. In the past they have had David Lee Roth, Kansas, 38 Special, Hootie and the Blowfish etc...

The best thing is all these shows have been totally FREE. All you have to do is stand for the whole show (who doesn't do that anyway at most shows)?

If anyone is going to be in town for race weekend(s) let me know and we can meet up.
