Probably Styx. They have stuff written but needs to be recorded.
Although Dennis has 15 songs written, It appears that there is no fire burning under him to get one out. Have to remember for Dennis, 15 ongs is about 3 albums worth of material. Or at least 2 if they all made it to cd.

Perhaps some fiber would help.

Classic says:
Couldn't hurt ! Seems like it's harder for DDY to release new songs
than a Woman having natural childbirth without an epidural !!!!!
Hey, I gave birth to 3 kids!!!
No epidural,
no drugs
all natural childbirth. It was no problem and my biggest baby was a 9 pounder.
If I was a betting person

I would bet Dennis would release his cd first.
Would anyone care to bet?
P.S. You know I would come out of "lurkmode" when someone talks about childbirth on here - LOL

OK OK........since I know nothing more about Childbirth than it sure looks like it hurts a lot, I will amend my analogy from the Childbirth w/o pain meds to passing a large Kidney stone ( which is the worst pain I have ever felt !!! )

I think DDY will put out new material first. Both he and Styx have new songs written, but Styx already has a CD coming out (as well as Shaw's Side CD coming out). They'll probably tour with that for a while before going back into the studio whereas DDY's new CD came out a while ago, so he's probably about ready to jump into a studio now.
Time will tell of course.
Another question would be; which style would DDY's new album employ? The Theatrical/Broadway one or the recent Return to Rock we've been hearing about?
Either direction would be interesting IMO.

My wife was in labor for 16 hours with my daughter who weighed 8lbs 6 oz. My son came out at a whopping 10lbs 6oz.
So which would be worse??????

b) 10 lb 6 oz baby
c) 9 lb baby with No drugs
d) 16 hours of non stop Hip Hop with no drugs to aid your hearing
e) 16 hours of High& Music Time alternated at the highest of volumes
f) 16 hours of Cold War, Best New face & This Is Not A Test
pick your poison!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a great question. I heard part of one of the songs and it seemed more of a rock song
to me. I would think it would be a variety of music on the cd, not sure.
h) listening to Miss America one time and looking at Don Majkowski's picture (I can't stand him)!! That would be my poison of hell. I'd rather give birth then have that!!

This is OFF TOPIC
My bragging, again
Classic, I was part of The Packers Fan Club in the early 90's. I've traveled to Tampa Bay 2 years in a row and helped organize the largest tailgating party. I've met most of the players season after season (I even got to throw the ball around with some of the players), Majik was the
biggest jerk that I've ever met in my life. He was nice to me, but how he treated some of his fans & fiance at the time was
terrible.
I can't stand him!! UGH!! Thank goodness Favre came in!! Chuck Cecil and Tim Hauck will always be my favorite Packers
I'm totally a Packers fan, you should see my house. I usually color my hair green during the season and wear all my Packer clothes - LOL

Don't know nuthin' 'bout no Packers!
As to CD releases, I think whatever decision Dennis will make, he will hold his cards VERY close to the vest on the release of this CD. And I do not blame him one bit.

I think both may come close together? Styx has a covers cd on the way, and isn't Dennis got songs comig out on the Perfect man sound track? So both "new" maybe at end to beginning of year-ERIC

Perfect Man songs are Styx songs. Or at least were originally Styx songs.

I heard they were rerecorded? HEY DENNIS IS DOING A COVERS CD

, but they may count for something, as for pushing back his new stuff.
I would hurry up and release something, if it was me, to ride on whatever hype the movie gets-ERIC
