Dwelling On The Past.........

Yes, that's what I'm doing right now, I'm dwelling on the past. I'm sitting here working at my computer and listening to the cd "Return To Paradise" tour, (Paradise Nevada 1996).

I miss 1996. I'm so glad that I saw the show in Milwaukee that year. I miss the interaction with each other on stage, I miss the interaction with the crowd, I miss the fun (they appeared) to have on stage, I miss the harmonies with all of them, etc. I miss hearing the big 3 on stage together.

Bummer

At least I'll always have the memories

But you will have the Live CD... which IMO - Return To Paradise is one of the best live CD's every produced for any band ever. The production and continuity of that collection is magnificent.

I have thought about getting the RTP DVD.... but I'm not sure if that would make me happy or sad..

I remember travelling to three cities to see Styx in 1996.... It's a shame those days are gone forever - but I will always have my memories.

I like listening to the "boots", I get a feeling like I'm in the crowd.

Froy, you're so lucky to see all those concerts :)

I thought I was a little obsessed

I have the cd and while I really like the material, I was disappointed in the production. My main beef is that they faded out between each song. One of the things I like about a live concert is all of the stuff that goes on between songs. That is why I bought the DVD. It is all there (or most of it anyway)

I think this is one of the very best concert DVD's out there. Period. You will NOT be disappointed, Ash, if you get this one.

I was astonished at how good it was.

I genuinely enjoyed/enjoy watching the dvd. No matter what differences these men had/have they were all professionals and gave a great concert.
Ash, if you decide to get it, I think you will be pleased.

Peace
