I like to imagine all the posters here, 1/2 on each side, with really long tables facing each other....a third table perperdicular with all living former and current Styx members sitting at them, acting as judges

and a man in a referees shirt comes into the middle of the room...Froy, Suite and Sadie come out from one side, Adam, Monker, and Chicago Styx come out from the other.......Handshakes are exchanged. The ref says to Adam call it in the air, this is Heads, this is tails.....Adam Calls Tails...it's Heads. The ref asks Froy if his side wants to go 1st, or have the 1st rebuttal...Froy consults with the others on his side and says we'll
receive the 1st question !

The ref asks for a fair debate, no personal attacks, or attacks on participants Mothers or children....then he says, HAVE A GOOD DEBATE !

Then Froy elbows Adam in the ribs by mistake of course and he sits with his clan and The First question is?

OK for purposes of this thread, if posters need to identify if they are posting for the team on the Left ( Dennis leaners ) or The team on the Right ( 21st century Styx leaners )

Now for fun, a person can actually switch sides any time they post, or they can post as any memeber of the Judging panel, as long as they identify who they are for that post.......

One can also post a question for the other side if the question in play is finished , or just getting tired out.

I'll play with the Left team for the 1st question, to the Right team....

This is simply JY's opinion and as you know opinions are subjective. If JY believes it, then JY believes it regardless of how others may feel.

In regards to Dennis making #25 on some undisclosed keyboardist survey, that is looking at keyboardists from a historical perspective rather than at this moment in time. Larry Gowan simply does not have the same body of work to be compared to as Dennis DeYoung, so comparisons from a fan's perspective is unfair. One would also have to understand the bias that is built into any survey. If Larry Gowan's name was not on the list to choose from, then he would not receive any votes.

I thought this was Adam Chicago and Monkers gig .

If we have a serious/fun debate on here we need everyone on the board involved, the people that post on here. Two sides: "right sided" and the "left sided". The middle of the road (the ones that are happy with both sides) can be the referee's.

I just thought since the likelyhood of any large group of us getting together is very small, we could have a virtual gathering on 1 thread.....
I had visions of some additional humor....Froy gave Adam a "virtual elbow" right away....like that. ( Zan's comment and ducking made me chuckle too...)

oh well....so much for my big imagination.
