That's great news for all the Carrot Styx fans. I just hope JY isn't bitter in the interview, seriously. He really needs to let go and move on and promote what they're working on and what's being released.

Does this mean the 18 month old article is going to brought up again?
If he feels negatively about DDY, so be it. It can't be any worse than the hatred that is put in this BB about him.

Which article? There were a few in the last year that JY was interviewed for. Each article he was pretty negative against Dennis. I guess you didn't see the April 2005 Classic Rock Magazine regarding Styx and the making of the Grand Illusion album.
If the questions are asked to JY regarding Dennis, I'm sure he'll come out bitter like usual. That's just my opinion. Hopefully they'll just promote their new stuff.

Has it occured to anybody that JY does the DDY bashing schtick because otherwise, no one pays any attention to the current lineup ?
I'm not saying I absolutely believe that, but it's a long standing philosophy that any attention is better than no attention..
you can also substitute Publicity for attention in the above theory.

Sorry to have to tell ya this but thier "Not dead yet" as for you I'd have to say your flat lined brain dead for sure.

Styx is on tonight May 4th.
The following is from the Rockline website!
Wednesday - May 4, 2005
Styx
It's time for a little true or false regarding Styx and their upcoming appearance on ROCKLINE.
True or False: Styx has been touring without a day off since 1736 AD. False, it just seems that way. True or False: Styx rocks more in 2005 than at any time in their storied history. Absolutely true, if you don't believe it go see them perform live. There is full tour information at StyxWorld.com. True or False: Styx is about to release a CD titled "The Big Bang Theory" on which they cover songs by 14 other artists. False, it's 13 others and they cover themselves too! True or False: The new CD is in stores May 10th and ROCKLINE will give you the national radio premiere. True, we are proud to say. True or False: Styx played it safe and only covered obscure songs virtually no one has ever heard before. Really false, nothing was sacred. They took on the giants without any reservation and nailed every song. True or False: "The Big Bang Theory" places Styx with The Beach Boys, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Beatles and a small handful of others in terms of vocal harmonies. A resounding true, wait until you hear it.
Displaying tremendous scope and breadth, you will be amazed upon hearing "The Big Bang Theory" as Tommy, J.Y., Lawrence, Ricky and Todd perform songs ranging from The Who, Humble Pie, Blind Faith, The Lovin' Spoonful and Jethro Tull to Procol Harum, The Allman Brothers Band, Free, The Pretty Things and Jimi Hendrix. There's even more, but we don't want to give it ALL away. They even include "Blue Collar Man 2004" from their now famous Chess Records sessions. What an album! What a show this will be! Who the heck is going to have to choose what songs to play?
Join us for an unforgettable evening with Styx from the only show big enough to do it right, ROCKLINE!

Suite, you nearly gave me a heart attack!! Here, I've gotten it all set up with someone who's going to record it for me tonite via the net (since none of our local stations carry it) and you go and make me think I'd given him the wrong date!
I'm curious to hear what the boys have to say on the show. I've said it before, my attitude toward the boys is mellowing. Not that I've forgiven them, mind you, just that I don't hold them 100% to blame anymore. (Now it's only 90%

)

It will be great to hear some of the songs from Big Bang Theory all the way through and not just a 1 minute sample. I’m really looking forward to the show tonight.

Are you serious? You thought JY's vocals were good on that song? I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, but you really thought it was good?
Just wondering

Overall a very good show last night. They played 7 songs all the way through, Walrus, I Don’t Need No Doctor, Find The Cost Of Freedom, I Can See For Miles, It Don’t Make Sense, Locomotive Breath, and Can’t Find My Way Home. They played samples of the rest. The guys were in good form last night. I thought LG was funny when he said he tried to throw JY out of the band and then found out he couldn’t do that. When asked who the female voice was on one of the songs they wouldn’t say but they did allude to Chaka Khan and it sure sounds like her to me. The record sounds great so far and I think most Styx fans will like it. They also said that I Don’t Need No Doctor is the new single.

Wow... you mean you JUST NOW realized there are people like this in this forum? Welcome to the party man. I've been saying that for about 3 weeks now

(alludes to all the comment's he's made regarding people making this forum about themselves instead of the topic).

Didn't JY go to high school with Chaka Khan?
