I just won 2 tickets to the free STYX concert

That is shocking

what a waste.

if you don't intend to go, you should give them to someone who really wanted to win them.

If you destroy them or otherwise prevent them from being used, then I'll consider you despicable.

People sometimes really want things. People who don't want them should get out of the way for those that do.

I’m sure Froy will make good use of the tickets. If he doesn’t go I’ll bet he’ll give them to someone. I hope I won. I’ll find out when I get home.

I agree here. I'd like to think Froy would give the tickets to someone who would appreciate them. As for his comments to Ash, they were harsh. Then again, lately this seems to occur around here from a lot of people. I'd like to think it is slowing down.

I said I won tickets and already ASH is telling me what I suposed to do with them , If I burn them I have the right to burn them

While you are of course correct that whatever you do with them is your business, perhaps Ash and others assumed you would be less inclined to do something good with them given your propensity for slamming the band as it now exists. And while you may not have cared for Ash's or anyone else's remarks, you are certainly no saint in making remarks of your own that were out of line.

Froy, I think you should use the tickets yourself. If you do go, and your opinions does not change one iota ( exactly what is an iota, by the way ???? ) your credibility will increase because you will have an opinion based on a legitimate experience.....and you'll still be able to say you never paid a nickle to see them play. Heck, you'll even be able to say you got your money's worth !

I think you should go. Here is why. If you go you could wear a DDY T- shirt get up front and show the band how you really feel. All seats are general admission correct??

By going you are NOT supporting the current band because the tickets did not cost you a dime. Go with an open mind, then report to us what you REALLY think. Negative or positive at least now you would be commenting on something you have actually seen.

Finally, maybe by you going you could get the band that you claim you love so( the one with Dennis) back together. Like Cahil and Tommy lied about at the Texas jam maybe you could get a few people to boo the band scream for Kilroy, Babe & Dont Let It End and storm out of the place. If this action is caught on film maybe when they have a second Styx installment of Behind The Music Tommy might say something like 'when we were booed in our hometown we knew it was time to bring Dennis back'.

You could then claim your place in Styx history right next to Sparky & Yaz and his motorcycle stunts.

At any rate go. Go with an open mind or a with some sort of a plan.

Froy, I like Yogi's idea. Well, about the going to the concert part.

It might be interesting, since it is free and at a nice venue.

And you can report back your first-hand experience.

No its not a GA show and don't you know by now that the current band does not give a rats ass about what there fans and former fans feel
They just do what they want and collect the pay check
