Rock Like Hell
More high-profile classic-rock artists have added their musical talents to a previously reported album paying tribute to Pink Floyd's The Wall. The project, which is being spearheaded by former Yes member Billy Sherwood, will include contributions from the Doors' Robby Krieger, the Cars' Elliot Easton, Styx's Tommy Shaw, Deep Purple's Steve Morse, Keith Emerson, ex-Santana singer Alex Ligertwood and four of Yes' five current members. "I should be mixing [the recording] very soon," reveals Sherwood.

I'm having some trouble imagining TS covering any song from the Wall...

Anyone care to venture a guess as to what his contribution will be to this project ?

No idea about Tommy but Michael Jackson has been approached to play the teacher in the Another Brick In The Wall video but the singer currently in court in California objected to the line.."Hey teacher leave those kids alone".

Not sure, but he has done well on other tribute albums/cover songs and hasn't disrespected the originals.

If you think Tommy covering the Wall is out in left field, consider that Cindy Lauper, Bryan Adams, Tim Curry, Van Morrison, The Band, Jerry Hall, Sinead OConner, The Scorpions and others covered the Wall on Roger Waters' "The Wall Live in Berlin" recording.

Has anyone heard Tommy's cover of "Spread Your Wings" on the Queen tribute?

I would be really interested in hearing that.
