I hope you all have a great time too. I also hope that each of you will post a review and a set list from the shows
Does anyone know when "Boat on The River" was last played at a Styx concert?

It was on Styxworld, so I'm guessing that it was played on the tour proceeding it, perhaps.

Thanks, I was just curious.
I really love that song
I wonder if they'll keep in the set list when they come back to the States.

I sure hope so. I wouldn't mind seeing them bring back Borrowed Time or Everything Is Cool, either. I could use a break from Miss America, Lady, and Crystal Ball, as well, but that's just personal preference. I don't seem to ever tire of hearing The Grand Illusion, Blue Collar Man, Come Sail Away, or Fooling Yourself, but I'm sure others do! I guess you can't make everyone completely happy and that's the predicament the setlist creates.

Ide rather have Great White Hope or Halfpenny Two Penny than Miss America......Ide rather of seen DDY do Queen Of Spades and Castle Walls when he was in Styx instead of Babe and Lorelei and ide rather hear Just Get Through This Night instead of Too Much Time On My Hands.........

Don't ya just love having a huge catalog. and not enough time to play them. Wish they would choose from some of their other hits from time to time.

Froy,
I am talking about Dennis adding these songs to his set! Read back and it was talked about Dennis changing up his set too.

Forgot about Midnight Ride. That is a great song, and I would love to hear them play it sometime, even if they think only 20% of the crowd would recognize it. Everyone needs a pee break song, anyway.

ek,
Dont hold your breath waiting for Midnight Ride to be added to any Styx set......there's no way JY can handle those vocals at this stage of his vocal cords life.....even you you took it down several keys, and he butchered the phrasing to get in extra breaths, I dont believ he could do it justice.
this ones better left in the past IMO, though I think it was one of JY's best vocal efforts ever...

classic,
Despite my earlier post, I had those same thoughts about JY and handling the vocal. I'd have to agree with you, but I can always dream
