It's a long story.
If anyone on here has any decent questions for Dennis or Suzanne, please let me know - these will be asked on-air (radio & tv). Also, please let me know if you want your name (or internet name) mentioned with your question. I'll need questions before this Thursday.
I'm avoiding any lawsuit questions or very personal questions.
Thanks in advance

Why does Dennis prefer to do slow types of songs?

I often wondered if she could tell Dennis was damn near working himself to death. If she told him to slow down, etc. I am referring to when Styx was doing Brave New World, Dennis was doing Hunchback, flying back and forth etc...
All of this( his working soooo hard) may have factored into his illness. Correct???
My wife knows me as well as I know me. She tells me all the time to slow down or I will end up in a hospital. I often wondered if she told Dennis to slow down???

Dennis.......Is that your REAL hair ? ( Kidding ! )
I would be interested in knowing what ( if anything ) he does to take care of the fine instrument that is his voice, and if he's had to make any changes to what he does as he has "matured"
you can keep my name out of it.
Also, you could ask him why he hates Madison Wisconsin ? ( or wont play there )

Ask him why Tommy always does what's best for himself?

Ask Dennis how/if his musical preferences have changed throughout his career. Followed up by what style of music does he feel most comfortable writing and singing today.

Ok...
I would like to know if he has anything to say to HIS current and former fans who still treat Styx and/or Dennis with so much anger, resentment, and belittle them at every opportunity so many years after the breakup.

I was wondering how long it would take for Monker to screw this thing up .

I was wondering how long it would take before your addiction got the best of you and you started posting again.
It's a question I sincerely want him to answer. I would very much like to know if Dennis can show ANY support to people like you and IML...or, if he condemns your actions. Or, if he dodges the question and spins it around, which is what I would expect him to do.

Not to be rude but I am sure he doesn't give a rats ass and is obliviouse to the insane ramblings of the posters on this board! If you thin otherwise then let me share with you a lyric..........."all we are is dust in the wind"

I didn't name anybody specificaly...even though I DID have specific people in mind...Dennis wouldn't know that unless Suite told him.
You post made me think of another question:
You once said that Styx fans on the internet would drink Tommy's bathwater. It seems to me that all rock bands and musicians have such fans. Do you have anything to say to YOUR fans on the internet who treat YOU the same way as those who you accuse would drink Tommy's bathwater? BTW, it's a bit salty but is OK with a slice of lemon.

I have often thought the same thing, Monker...But everyone says things they later either regret or learn about the shoe on the other foot. I'm sure Dennis doesn't mold his life by a flip comment he made five years ago. And I have no doubt that he probably regrets saying it from time to time.
What I might be more inclined to ask is "What, if anything, would you do differently about the situation with Styx if you had the chance?"
I'd ask the same of the guys in Styx if they were offering such an interview.
No, I'm not asking that question to be submitted. You can ask it if you want to, but I'm not implying you should do it.

I'd ask what his favorite song is from each Styx album (not counting compilations, of course)!

Great question, I'll add it - thanks EK.
I know from Styx II "Lady" and Man of Miracles "Christopher, Mr. Christopher". I think from Styx I was "Best Thing" and I think from The Serpent is Rising is "Young Man".

I had a good number of questions printed out and to ask. I think my interview was a good 20-25 minutes and we ended up just talking and I only asked a couple questions. For the radio interview, they had the list of questions too. It was easier to ask these questions instead of having some Yahoo call in and not know what they're talking about -LOL I know most of you can't imagine me talking - LOL Anyway, we talked about the movie The Perfect Man and his new album and he does have a few ideas of a title and he mentioned the names of his songs too. When I have the interviewed edited, I'll post the information on here. He couldn't play any of the new songs for the camera, they're not copyrighted yet. He talked about the cost of the orchestra show and how he likes to perform with either the orchestra or just the band concerts. We talked about the lengths of the shows and venues, I thought that was interesting.
We touched on the questions from Classic, styxman, Yogi, ChicagoStyx, Eric and DeeJay's.
Oh and we did talk about Rob Thomas - LOL Television shows and what type of music he listens to today, new artists.
We taped for about 3 hours with 2 cameras. We are making 2 separate tv shows out of the footage - hopefully. He was also on 2 radio stations here in Milwaukee. He played "Pieces of Eight" for me on the keyboards
It was a GREAT time - thanks again for the questions. I really appreciate it

Suite,
I am working on that....If i can finaggle scheduling my weekly business meeting in your neck of the woods to happen the day of the show, I WILL be there. I'm thinking that will happen, as the show is 2 weeks before the project completion deadline, and I may be nearly LIVING over there by then.....
Just locked in being in the Greater Milwaukee area on 7/5 so I can take in Carrot Styx @ Summerfest ( Mrs Classic gave the thumbs up this morning ! )

Classic, I hope you can go and anyone else from here. We can have a little Melodic Rock Pre-party - LOL My son and I are going to sit in the $75 seats and my husband, family and friends are sitting in the $10 seats.
Is Mrs. Classic going with you for the Carrot Styx show?
That would be nice if you moved closer

Good luck with everything
