He is ruining the board. I do not mind arguments and debates but insults and vulgarity is beneath most of the posters here. Please Andrew ban him or warn him this is your board and not a democracy.

P.S. I really find his attitude toward new posters very offensive as it makes us all look bad. I think new posters should be welcomed I enjoy hearing new opinions.

OK, I know I am a relative newbie here, but on most boards just threatening to change IDs and evade a ban is grounds in itself for being banned. Apparently you aren't aware that you can be reported to your ISP for a TOS (Terms of Service) violation for such antics.

I just dont get why people have to be so hateful. Styx is a BAND not a religion, and this is just the freaking internet, its not your real life! (at least I freaking hope not! lol)

As a newbie, I know that I have been put off by all the backbiting and hateful comments here, thats one of the reasons I lurked for so long before posting. As somene else pointed out, the ONLY band I can think of with NO personnel changes in their lifetime is U2. Bands change, heck is over 50% of marriages fail, and thats just TWO people, it only makes sense that bands would change. I havent seen DDY live in person, but I have seen the PBS special, and I enjoyed it. I have seen the Glen Burtnick era Styx several times and they were amazing live. I also have had the pleasure of driving Glen around while they were in Indy (my old roommate was Dave Amato's guitar tech). I have been a fan of Glen's since his solo days, and when he left Styx (either time, lol) I didnt freak out and get all hateful about it, instead I am excited for him and his new endeavors, as I am excited that DDY is moving on solo. The way I see it, now instead of one band/performer to see, I have several!

Ack, sorry about the book long post!

When I first got here I posted some positive things about Dennis and was promptly ripped a new one.

It works both ways.

Glad to see the Styx board having as much warfare as the Journey board..well, ok, not even close but congrats on trying.

I didnt question your posting your opinion, you are indeed entitled to it, and I agree that it does indeed work both ways.

What I questioned was the WAY you express it, and you threatening to change your nick and evade a ban. I have personally seen people lose thier ISP accounts after being reported for this, as I have seen people lose thier ISPs for abuse on Usenet NGs. Just a friendly warning....

Both sides arent ever going to agree on this, nor are any minds going to be changed....."why cant we all just get along??"

Thanks, yes I am quite aware of those apparently conflicting sects, but I propose a joining of the denominations, a blending if you will, becoming one, great, all encompassing group where the great and whole Styx Collective can be worshipped as one! Can I get an AMEN brothers and sisters?!
