when it played on NBC, Henley said it was Fairwell Tour 1. and that it din't mean it was the end. "As long as we keep putting numbers after it..."

When was this filmed? I have the HFO dvd and it is great. Anyone ever see them live? I caught them in 1979 for the Hotel Calafornia tour when Joe Walsh had just joined the band. Great show but the tickets set me back $15.00

I am holding out for the "Farewell Tour X" DVD!

Seriously, I think the Eagles are the greatest American rock band ever. Obviously, I love Journey, but the Eagles are the American Beatles!

Not sure but it was recently. It was on maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago, just as the regular tv season ended.

I haven't seen them before, but would love to however the ticket prices are ridiculous and seeing they keep getting it, there is no way they would be able to drop the price and make it affordable for peeps like me.

Definitely one of the top 25 bands of all time.

The Long Run, New Kid In Town, Peaceful Easy Feeling, One Of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes, Already Gone, Take It To The Limit (Glenn Frey on lead vocals), and Heartache Tonight are on this DVD

Plus Hotel California is done regular as opposed to Unplugged on Hell Freezes Over....And all of the Solo material is really good too...

30 songs total on 2 discs, A Great DVD...

Sorry, but the Eagles just arent the Eagles without Don Felder! I refuse to even consider this the Eagles...they shouldnt have gone out under the Eagles name without Felder!

That was indeed funny to watch. Joe Walsh went on the Howard Stern show 3 weeks ago, and some pretty interesting things came up. If you don't know, Stern is a great interviewer and gets the info you want out of the interviewee... Walsh said he wasn't allowed to go back on the Stern Show because the visit before started "his journey toward armegeddon." Howard told him to shut it, that it was not his fault. Walsh laffed and said, "you're right." And played Rocky Mountain Way" and some others substituting lyrics..

"My mazarotti does 185...
I lost my license, now I don't drive..
Got me a limo,
ride in the back..
the Laker stink
cuase they don't have the Shaq...

Pretty funny.

They also found the hatred between Henley and Joe was pretty intense for awhile..

Buy this DVD. one of the finest sounding I have ever heard.

Like i said, it was filmed in Australia..

ANDREW won't say if he went or not. 'DREW???
