Father and Son Tour

Postby froy » Sat Jul 02, 2005 11:55 pm

Just woke up from a great night at the Tweeter Center and let me tell ya
The Fogerty Mellencamp show was simply brilliant
Never before in my concert career has an opening act been as good or better than the headliner,
John Fogerty blew all the Mellencamp fans away they all got into him from the very first song,
It was like Fogerty was the Father and Mellencamp was his kid taking over the second part of the show.
Mellencamp who I have not seen since Farm Aid 1 was on fire
Great band and just one rocker after another
The Walls come crumblin Down ripped everyone up and that was prior to Jack and Dianne which I really don't care for but everyone else was going balistic. Pink Houses Cherry Bomb were right after and it was just out of control. This is the double bill of the year go see it
2 Legends back to back awesome show great summer night concert.

Looking back at a life
Filled with warm embraces
No regrets only memories
Of smiling faces

Mellencamp was the Headliner but its a toss up
They could switch any time and nobody would care
Just a awesome evening 36 tunes between the 2.

I Need A Lover

My all-time favorite Mellencamp (Johnny Cougar!!) song.

This sounded like a great show, Froy. You all sure got your money's worth of great music.

Bugsy
Change your hairdo. Change your name.
Congratulations! You're still the same.
