The guys in Damn Yankees, Asia and Bad English have more talent in their left bollock than he will ever have. And when he says "The same crap as they have always done" then then slags of Styx, Yes, Journey, ELP etc......What an assole he is......he should stick to singing (I use the term losely) his grunge crap and leave the decent music to others.
Just another dang example of ripping "melodic rock" music because it is the "cool" thing to do.

Ouch! Actually if one ignores the nastiness I find it difficult to argue with his point; it's fair to say that Asia, Damn Yankees and Bad English and GTR for that matter tailored their sound to fit what was popular at the time rather than taking creative risks or chances. (I wouldn't lump Power Station in with the other bands since that project was a departure from the synth-heavy Duran Duran sound.) I still like the songs on the first DY CD but find it almost unlistenable these days due to the crappy '80s production, especially the shitty drum sound.

Yeah, really. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy spent a fair chunk of his adolescence listening to the very music he's bashing on! LOL!
