SPRINGFIELD CHARTS AT 197 WITH NEW COVERS RELEASE:
Rick Springfield's new The Day After Yesterday record was released last week and charted this week at #197 on the Billboard Top 200 with sales of 5049 units.
While we are talking numbers, Styx's Big Bang Theory has sold 40,000 copies to date in the USA, while their Cyclorama is currently standing at 56,000 units sold.
Putting the current melodic rock climate into perspective, the second Damn Yankees album Don't Tread sold 561,000 copies.All stats are Soundscan quoted numbers for US retail sales. Stay tuned for some more interesting US sales numbers coming up.
