Did anyone see Styx without Shaw when Glen replaced him? Which of Tommys songs did he do and how did they sound?

Thanks in advance

I saw one show of the EOTC tour w/Glenn. Sorry I can't help out here, but I don't remember much about the songs, just that "Not Dead Yet" totally rocked!

What I do have are warm & fuzzy memories of the evening with going backstage as the highlight. I don't have any negative feelings, so I'm going to guess that everything sounded good.

Did I hear something??? Oh yeah, it's my calling! ;-)

As an avid Tommy fan since the age of 12, I must say that Glen Burtnik TOTALLY BLEW MY DOORS OFF back then. I saw them opening night of the tour and again 4 days later, when I actually got to meet him after the show.

I was skeptical at first, but when he sang the first note of BCM, I knew this was one kick ass musician. The best (for me) was when he did a solo acoustic version of “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away” and got a STANDING OVATION. Up until last month, I have never heard him do it again....Oh, what a night.

He did Renegade, TMT, BCM, and maybe Foolin Yourself, but I honestly can't remember if he did Foolin Yourself. I do remember “World Tonight” was a show stopper, tho.

Anything else? *g*

OK, Zan. Quit beating around the bush and tell us how you REALLY feel! :)

I would have loved to have heard "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away". Such a great song. Sounds very cool.
