Hello all-
I have a favor to those of you who know Darren from this board,
today he phoned me quite upset as he was just told of his Dad passing
away this morning, he's taking it very hard as one would expect, can you please keep him in your prayers or thoughts today.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Darren...I lost my Father at the age of 16 from cancer.... It was rough for me to see what cancer did to him, It literally wore him down from 190 lbs to 110 and the amount of pain he was in....Plus, I just lost my Aunt on July 2 from complications of asthma...

I know the pain that I have for the loss of my 2 special family members, but I take comfort in knowing that they're in a better place right now and that their suffering is over....

I understand how you may be feeling at this time of loss in your life. There are no words to explain how I felt when my father passed away 14 years ago...

Thinking of you. I know my father died many years ago, at a very vulnerable time of my life, and I miss him every single day.

Events such as these are not my forte. I really am at a loss for words, but I wish you and your family the strength to endure. We all understand that this place is merely a diversion from the 'real' world and events such as these really drive that point home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we hope to hear from you soon. Perhaps in a small way we can be a part of the healing process.
