Darren,

Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, Eight, Skate, Seven on the Rotate!

It's a term used for the game Craps. I personally asked him about this since it was bugging me for years.

Pieces of Eight is a concept album, I guess it has to do with gambling.

Hope that helps :)

You're welcome Darren, if there's anything else you need, just let me know, I'll try my best to find out the answers :)

I'm glad that you're going to get a good night sleep. It'll be better too when you come to the States and your on one of our time zones

That was bugging me for years and years too. I finally remembered to ask him. I have a list of 40+ questions that I still would like answered. I finally got smart enough to write them down :)

Thanks Suite....I can now sleep at night for the first time since 1978.

Hmm. . . makes me wonder, Darren, did you experience much love in the midnight during all those sleepless nights?

Darren, I have pages of questions, most of them are from members of the various boards/groups that I'm on and they're basically the same questions that I wanted to know. I've been collecting questions for a few years now. I'm sure Sadie & Bugsy can remember most of the answers (from the studio, backstage & my interview) - LOL

I'm hoping to find someone that has a DVD burner around here so I can pass my little interview to my friends so they can help transcribe it. I also have the rest of my co-host interview too and the whole radio interview, so there's a whole lotta stuff to put on here. Some things I'm sure no one knew and some things that are the same from interview to interview. I'm terrible transcribing and remembering anything.

Yogi, I wish I could help you out.

Is this the beginning?

"...everybody plays this one right, everybody gets a fresh, hot latte and a scone..."

and then

"...'scuse me, waitress, latte's and scones for
everybody!..."

Since I can't find the cd, I can't listen - UGH

He says something in French..

J'aime la mademoiselle, oooh la la

which I believe translates to "I love you mademoiselle, ohh la la"

That ruins an otherwise GREAT styx song. I hate that they put that crap in the song.

Thing is - I don't think it's JY either. Sounds too good to be JY.

Why can't I play?

Just kidding.

You're talking about JY on the "On My Way" song right? Not Mademoiselle in the beginning. The talking in Mademoiselle is totally Dennis.

Here goes my take:

In “Why Me” Dennis has a conversation with himself and it sounds like he is saying:

“That’s what I wanna know. You know what I mean? I mean – HUH! I dunno…”

At the beginning of “Lonely People,” he hears the saxophone music outside (and rain is falling). He bangs on the wall (floor?):

"Hey! Hey down there ! Knock it off will ya?!! Give it a rest, will ya?! I gotta get some sleep ! Want me to call the cops?? I tell ya (name??) I can’t wait until (something) tear that damn ol’ theater down.”

Close as I can come on Lonely People. What he says in "Why Me" I think is pretty accurate.
