I'm watching the interview I had with Dennis in June.

We're discussing the Lost Treasures show and Dennis mentions that the song "First Time" should've been released as a single (would've made the Top 5) and he mentions another song that should've been released as a single, but was stopped "by a certain member of the band."

Can anyone guess what the other song is that he mentions? (Bugsy you can't play-LOL)

Well Suite, judging by the way you phrased it, I'm gonna take a flyer and guess that JY, was the 'Certain member'. I'm also gonna guess it was a ballad (a leap of faith I'm sure).

Eliminating every non-dennis song and songs that were released as singles, I'll take a wild guess at Lonely People, but I'm sure I'm wrong.

Scott, good guess, but sorry, it wasn't "Lonely People" and it isn't JY that didn't want the song released during this certain time period. There might be an interview about this, but I can't find it right now.

I'm not sure if Bugsy remembers, she's the only one on this list that has seen the interview (at my house). I'm not sure what she remembers, probably more than me - LOL

In a way it was a shame they didn't try to release Haven't We Been Here Before as a single. It was/is a really nice song and the two-part harmony is wonderful.

They did make that strange video for it, so I wonder if it was considered?

Isn't that the time where Tommy was leaving and he shot his scenes separately because he was ticked off with everything and he still had to fulfill his contract with the video? Something like that.

No. That would be Darren's favorite...Music Time.

Though I agree...the video for Haven't We Been Here Before was definitely strange.
