Posted this at Journey site too, I think Lordaring lives in it's path too.
Hey Guys and Girls, I ask that you pray for us here on the Gulf Coast as Hurricane Katrina bears down on us. We are packing up now, and just got done boarding up the hosue. Not going to try and ride this out, Cat. 5. 175+ winds with gusts higher. Taking my computer brain, but do not have the time to pack my cds. Anyone that I owe, I will mail out, Lord willing when I get back, if anything is left. Bugsy, I haver your dvds, I found them when we were packing the van, they were behind back seat, so I guess they were not mailed out. My wife says she mailed what she saw. All I can say is sorry, I am taking them with me and will mail from TN, I will personaly mail them. Rock D, NIG, J28, and RED 13 I'll get mp3 to you. Sadie I'm still looking. Talk to later-ERIC

Eric, PLEASE, worry about one thing, ok? -- your family and everyone's safety. Please let us know when you can how everything is.
I know how devastating this storm may be -- category 5 is just beyond description.
Here's hoping the storm loses strength before she hits shore and that everyone in its path is safe and sound and can return to homes that are still there for them.

Eric,
Don't worry about what you owe anyone here. Just make sure you and your family are safe. That's the most important thing.
Keeping very good thoughts for you and everyone in this storms path.

Looks like this storm is taking direct aim at the area where Eric and his family live. My cousin lives in Pass Christian and he and his family left yesterday as well. I know you got out, Eric and thank goodness for that.
I hope all who live there, as I said earlier, have homes and possessions and family treasures that are in tact when they return.

It doesnt sound like they are having much good luck down there.....those at the Superdome are experiencing leaky roof, and no air conditioning, but at least its still standing.
and Biloxi is taking a bigger hit than N'awins.
keeping my cyber fingers crossed for Eric.....

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I tried to post last night on my brothers computer, looks like it didn't go thru. But we are in Tennessee. Just got off the phone with a friend from down there, he said house was okay. BUT, we were one of the lucky ones. Tdal suege has took out my job, kids school, and 90 percent of everything down there. He said not to come down, they were leaving. Roads are closed, looting going on, mass chaos. Car jackins, no gas, no power, no water, no food. Gas leaks, I could go on. Going to try and go down this weekend and get clothes and music. Already got eveything else on way up. As I said work is gone in Gulfport, but producing plant in New Orleans is under 15 foort of water. Well gotta go, taking a break from tv and calling my creditors. Thanks again-ERIC

Eric. Thanks for checking in with us here. I know it is difficult for you.
That your home survived is very good news. But --- what's to go back to? No one knows at this point.
Rebuilding and re-making lives from all of this is just beyond imagining.
Positive thoughts your way and hope you and your family can re-group and re-coup.

I am glad to hear that you and the ones closest to you are ok. The world sure has gotten crazy. My best goes out to you Eric.
When things calm a bit, let us know what CD's you took with you. We have asked this question a bunch of times. This was the real deal.
Again, all my best!!

Eric...
I am glad to read you are safe. Having had family members lose everything they owned (my parents-house fire), I can, to a small degree, relate to what is going on in your life. I sincerely hope you and all who were caught in this nightmare, can recover quickly.
Keeping good thoughts.

Eric,
I find it difficult to imagine what anxiety you're feeling now. From what will happen with your job to what has happened to the schools and homes and not to mention having looters around, further salting the wounds. All that and having to deal with it long distance and not being able to do anything about it for the time being. I guess you can take solace in the fact that your family is safe, which I'm sure is what is keeping you going right now. The worse we're having to deal with in Charlotte is skyrocketing gas prices and the possibility of shortages.
The road to recovery will no doubt be a long one, but please do keep us posted. (This goes for Lord of da Ring as well).
Stay safe and all the best to you,
Scott
