I just got an e-mail from Eric (Abitaman). As you know, he lives (lived) in Ocean Springs, MS. Thank goodness he is ok.

Here is what he says:

We are staying at an apartment up in TN. HAve no computer, use the librarys. But it will not let me on Melodic's website or check on emails from there. Let everyone know I am doing ok. Still out of work since work is still under water in NO. So no money coming in. Had to wait until this coming weekend to head down and see if I still have anything left, if looters didn't get it. I know house is still satnding, but other than that I do not know anything. But again tell everyone I said HI!!! Miss hangin out with yall, hope to again soon.

My heart goes out to him and if I get any further news from him, I will post on this thread. HANG IN THERE ERIC!!

You know sending Eric some cash would make me feel like I was doing something positive and helping out someone I kinda sorta know. If someone wants to coordinate it I would send a check.

I think everyone wants to help Eric and I agree. However, we need way more information from him before we can even attempt something like this. I hope he gives it to me when he e-mails tomorrow.

I will keep everyone informed. I told him I would.
