DeYoung/Shaw, what if Suite wasn't dreaming?
After the current Styx tour winds down and the Damn Yankee machine starts to crank back up, what if Tommy and Dennis did collaborate a little. Nothing as much as an album or a tour, but what if they did a one night charity show?
Yes this is gonna be one of those which band would you see scenarios/assembly lines.
Styx 6.0 is without Tommy and can't use that name to promote itself, but would like to play at the concert as well (it is for charity after all). Glen gets coaxed out of retirement for a night, but in order to not offend anyone agrees to play guitar for BOTH bands. Chuck also agrees to do guest appearances for BOTH bands. Since Tommy has been doing Damn Yankees work, he gets Michael Cartellone to play drums and Jack Blades on Bass.
Because neither band is using the Styx name, any music from the catalog of any of the members is up for grabs.
In one band you have Larry/JY/Glen/Todd/Ricky/Chuck
in the other Dennis/Tommy/Glen/Jack/Michael/Chuck
you can only see one band, which one is it?
Scott
