Believe me, having 3 kids is a lot of work, plus the other 5 that came over today. I went through 2 pitchers of kool-aid, a box of Cheese Nips and bags of fruit snacks. Then I had to clean up after the spills and stomped on crackers - LOL And don't forget the 6 loads of laundry today, dishes, dusting, vacuuming and being on the computer between all that , blah, blah, blah, blah - LOL

I thought that was a character name in an Oscar Wilde book (and movie). Tommy just spelled it Grey in the song. Right? Anyone?

Yes Suite it is a character from an Oscar Wilde novel. Quite the story. I have the feeling there is an inside joke being played with these..."men"

We'll leave them to their fun.

As for Dorian Grey being a character from an Oscar Wilde novel, you will have to excuse me as my reading rarely extends beyond album jackets and cereal boxes.

But I must protesteth (Wilde inspired) about being called a 'pig'. A pig-ferret maybe but not a pig.

Potesteth...not in Wilde's style. But I'll give you points for Shakesepearean lingo.

And hey...those cereal boxes...woohoo sometimes wayyyyyyyyy too much intense of a read...especially before say...morning coffee. You rawk!

Tireseus (Castle Walls)

There was a mini-series on Scifi for Hercules. Tireseus played a large role...I thought about the song when she (or he, depending on what in and out bits you are looking at) was first shown.

In the Odessey mini-series from some years ago, he (or she) also showed up and was played by Christopher Lee...Odesseus had to cross the river Styx to chat with him.

Also, Hercules had to visit the river Styx to fight Cerberos, the three headed dog that gaurds the gates to Hell.

I knew Tireseus was part of the story for the Odessey, but did not know about Hercules...unless the scifi writers just made it up instead of following the orignal tale.

Interesting info, Monker. I only know Tireseus (Tiresias) from the Odyssey.

Assuming Dennis knew his mythology well, he had a bit of double meaning then, using the name of the soothsayer Tiresias with the connection to the River Styx.

BTW, Monker. I love your "monker/monster" avatar!! :D
