Most definitely. Have a great time. Stay away from the birds, wash your hands like a good girl. Be safe.

And then give a full report.

You can't get eggrolls THERE! LOL

You CAN get pigeon eggs, sea cucumber, snails, boney fish, fish head soup, tea made from anything that can be grown and cropped down, and chicken necks/feet. Also, it seems to be normal for men to go to the bathroom together. I thought Paul was gonna die everytime our host would say, "Paul? I'm going to the toilet. Do you need to go?" And the DRIVING - OH. My. GOD. There are truly no words in the english language that can describe the driving conditions there.

Speaking of toilets, they are a precious commodity in some places. some restaurants not only have the standard european "hole in the floor," but they also don't have any dispenser for toilet paper. Or soap. Now, I ask you....

Or do I need to at this point?

All in all, it was a great experience. I did have a few "diva" moments, not being accustomed to life in a two-and-a-halfed world country, but all-in-all, I think I did OK. I got LOTS of pictures - probably over 500. I will post them soon and share the link with you guys once I have found some time. But now, I have to turn my attention to the debris and chaos that is my back yard. And front yard. And side yard. And refigerator.

Oxy moron = mild hurricane.
Hope all is well in Styxland.
(Speaking of, Ricky Phillips has written a note on Styxworld's site. I recommend checking it out)

Ta ta!

Welcome home, Zan!!! Can't wait to see your pics! I hope you had a great time. My sister was just in Greece and was talking about the toilets there. Same deal, but you have to throw your uh, waste toilet paper in a trash can OUTSIDE of the stall. She said that was less then fun! Ah, the things we take for granted.

Welcome Back Zan!!!

Hope you can catch up on the posts, there weren't that many on here - LOL

Glad you made it there and back safely. Sorry to hear about the mess you had to come back to.

I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures and reading anymore stories. The food doesn't sound that good over there, ack.

Did you walk the China Wall?

Again, glad you're back :)

Yes,

Welcome back Zan. I don't envy you coming home to find more wreckage from another hurricane, but at least you got a very interesting journey out of things.

Share the photos whenever you are able.
