Have Styx become yet another greatest hit band?

Why are some many bands doing this? I understand paying the bills, but Styx( and many of there contemporaries) are still making new music. I may be a "rock snob" but I have a problem with greatest hits fans. At one show in 2002, Styx was playing "Lights" and some drunk a**hole starts screaming," play Come sail away". If you want hits, listen to the radio. Leave the shows for the REAL FANS.
