Was channel surfing and ran across VH1 Classic. They have a charity function going on for Hurricane Katrina relief. This is an excellent opportunity to help a worthy cause and get Styx on VH1 Classic at the same time.
They are guaranteeing to play a video of your choice for a donation of only $25. For $200 you get an 8 Pack of videos and a signed print. Folks for only $25 you can GUARANTEE a video of your choice on VH1 Classic. This sounds like something we can all rally around. Any takers?

I bet they wait until 4 or 5 people pay for that one video played "especially for them"

I guess if there was a video that I haven't seen or didn't have - (I think I have all the STYX ones), then I'd pay for it. It goes for a great cause.
Did we make a list of all the STYX videos that are out there?

A few FYI's here.
I had some friends who "paid to play" (and good for them for their generous donations!).
Their names were read and all their videos were played in succession on Monday's All Request Hour. VH1 Classic will be doing this, I presume, until all the videos that people donated money for are played.
Some apparently ordered blocks of videos from one artist, and VH1C played them all.
As to the video choices -- there simply are not as many "rare" ones as one would hope. A few, but not many.
The Styx videos have all been played before except "Love at First Sight", which my friend requested, and it was played last Monday (see my other thread on this).
They have one solo video choice each for Dennis, Tommy and JY, but those have been played before as well (Desert Moon is played in regular rotation).
So, VH1 Classic has been pretty honorable in granting these requests and it has made for much more interesting groups of videos played during the All Request Hour.
Over and out.

I would guess that this would give them insight as to what people want to hear outside of the regular rotation.
