A bet is a bet. Your cheese will be in the mail Image

It was a pretty good game, especially for Monday night Image

I keep thinking of the song "Queen of Spades" with the laugh and the "you lose".

I'm pretty sure I know what I'll be sending. I'm sure I can find it here in Wisconsin

I'm glad I was "watching" the game with great friends (and listening to GREAT music), I needed all the support for this Image

It WAS a close game...has there been a Vikes/Pack game that has ever been a blow out? They always come down to the wire. That is what makes it an emotional rivalry. I know I was yelling and swearing on the edge of my couch a bit last night. lol!

Not that I can remember, but then again I can't remember what I did a few days ago -LOL Yes, they usually come down to the wire!! UGH

I was yelling and swearing too, a LOT!! LOL I was hoping that the Packers would've had a huge lead, then I was going to email you and taunt you all night - LOL Mah ha ha ha

But that didn't happen!! :? Next time :)

So Angie,

Your Vikings are now 2 games behind the Bears........who have to play the Packers TWICE in their final 6 games !!!!

Does this mean that the Packer Nation can count on your support the rest of the way ????

I'm not sure how I feel about doing the Vikings any favors at this point, but since it is the BEARS, well, we Packer fans like few things better than pounding the Bears, so maybe we'll help you out this once !!!!!

Now, say it with me......GO PACK GO !!!!

See, this is the dilema. This is like when I had to cheer for the Yankees to beat Cleveland. It just goes against nature. I felt dirty. But...we do what we must for our teams...no?

Let's not get silly now. Last night I was in the car on my way home listening to the game on the radio. I could hear the crowd chanting that and much like when I was in the metrodome and the GB fans starting chanting that, I felt the need to respond the same way loudly in my car:

PACKERS SUCK! PACKERS SUCK!! :P

Angie,

Here are some number you may just have blocked out of you mind

0 - The number of Super Bowls thew Vikings Have won in their 45 year history

4 - The number of times they have appeared in one......and lost !

30-27 The score the Atlanta Falcons beat them by in the NFC championship game a few short years ago the year they went 15-1

12- The number of World Championships won by the Green Bay Packers......more than the Bears, Lions and Vikings Combined ! of course, the Vikings didnt really contribute anything to the rest of the divisions total.....

3- The Number of Superbowls the Packers have won.....

now help me out cus I've forgotten, whose franchise sucks ? :)

3 of the 4 Vikings Super Bowls appearances were when my all-time favorite QB, Fran Tarkenton, was playing. A little guy who played way above his level, and who always gave the fans a thrilling ride when he was out there.

Probably many of you were in diapers, or on tricycles, when Sir Francis was helming the Vikes.

He said something very interesting, regarding the legacy of quarterbacks -- It is better to NEVER win a championship and go to a Super Bowl than to go and lose. It forever mars your legacy, no matter how great a player you were. I believe that.

So, I have a soft spot for the Vikings, a team that always seems to find a way to lose the important ones!

BTW, Angie -- I LOVE the GB helmet!

And what's the problem with that? I'm sure we'll beat you...after all the Vikings beat you (just kidding Angie)

Oh so that's how it's going to be? I see. Making mental note here....

I'm not sure how I feel about doing the Vikings any favors at this point, but since it is the BEARS, well, we Packer fans like few things better than pounding the Bears, so maybe we'll help you out this once !!!!!

Don't do her any favors...look how well your support of your own team has done this year. Tsk tsk Classic.

Now, say it with me......GO PACK GO !!!!

You cling to that...it's about all you've got going for you this year!!!!

one bad year out of 14.......... so by my count, after this year, we wont have another bad one until 2019 !!!!!

And the rest of you NFC North Wannabe's will slip back into your normal mediocrity !!!

I bet Dan Marino might argue that point. :)

Please, Brett Farve IS that team, once he is gone, you'll be back to nothing. Enjoy it while you can, you're in for a dry spell(that's already started)

Marino had that same stigma. Went to a Super Bowl, did not win, never went back. Many times I would hear his records and amazing career recounted always with the Super Bowl loss mentioned as well. "Couldn't win the big one" that sort of thing.

Maybe I am reading this wrong. How do you NEVER win a championship but go to the Super Bowl? Or does that go together "never win a Championship and (never) go to a Super Bowl"?

If that is the case, I know Marino agrees...
