Will Styx ever re-release their albums after remastering, hopefully with bonus tracks? The Wooden Nickel released this year were a real treat.

This was released: Chronicles: Crystal Ball/The Grand Illusion/Pieces Of Eight CD

I guess it's just a mini-box set, I don't think the albums for this was remastered, there aren't any bonus tracks.

That would be nice to have any extra bonus tracks. :)

I don't know if Styx even had any leftover tracks from their recording sessions, but it would be nice to get Music Time on a CD other than getting that dreadful Caught In the Act!!

If they don't have that many unreleased songs, they should try issuing some rare live performances as bonus tracks.

I can't find my source, article, interview or whatever, but they do have recorded songs sitting somewhere, in the basement, vault, studio or shed, they're somewhere out there. Not sure who's all on them.

Rare is good. I still like "Unfinished Song" :D

I remember Tommy saying in an interview that there were some tapes in the Warehouse. But pretty much what they actually recorded was released. They didn't actually record much stuff that wasnt released.

But JY has said that there are a few concerts from the 70's that they have somewhere.

Old recordings would be cool.

AS far as remasters, I haven't heard anything on re-releases. However, Ludwig who did the Anthology said at the time that the original master tapes were actually in good shape and he'd like the opportunity someday to take a run at them. The question is, is there anyone other than Dennis capable of mixing and producing the Styx sound?

I could swear that I heard there were recorded Styx songs that weren't released sitting somewhere hoping to find the light of day. I thought it was late 70's & early 80's. 1981 timeframe?? UGH!!!

I could swear I heard that from both camps too, which is driving me more crazy. I'll have to search my emails and binder of stuff.

:?

If they were from DDY in the early 80’s look for the lost songs

1.Babe I’m coming home
2.I want to be a robot
3.I’m in paradise
4.Paradise with my babe
5.The first time in paradise with my babe
6.Robot in paradise
7.Babe you’re my lady
8.The first time my babe touched my hunchback

That would be an entire new CD!!!

ANYTHING that they can find....old stuff from the studio..... Album bloopers or whatever would be great.

Clips of Anything Styx is good stuff.
