With our exiled buddy Froy on ice for a while I have come up with Yogi's Top 10 reasons why Froy should be granted a pardon:

10. Tis the season
9. Because Its High Time For Us To Start A Revolution
8. Back in 2000 departing President Clinton even pardoned Robert Orin Charles Kilroy for his Kilroy was Here album, and his efforts on Brave New World.
7. Because he has not eaten at Arby's in well over 2 years.
6. Because he is a main character in Suite's upcoming book.
5. Because he is a main character in Suzanne's upcoming book.
4. Without his posts, how are any of us going to know when the current rendition of Styx is about to fold.
3. Because Monker is just basically on loan form the Journey Board.
2. Because JY would be allowed to post here. And whats worse stealing an avatar or stealing a band???
1. Because he brought in to all of our lives Chunks The Dog

Well .Froy could use a little bit of anger management.
His manners are not the best I have seen, but it seems he could come in rather handy if I need somebody's phone number or picture.
He also does make Suite LOL a lot.
It's a tough call,.I will give it some more thought.

Froy has often gone over the line, but so have others. He is certainly not a loner in that regard. He has kept things interesting around here from time-to-time. Plus, I have met him and he truly is a fun and funny guy in his non-Froy persona.

I will vote with Yogi on this one. If Andrew decides to take him off the ice, I wouldn't protest. Just watch the using of *some* photos without the permission of the photo-ee. 8)

Bugsy

You know, the problem is that Froy crossed the line alot, got scolded, then retreated for a while. Since the end of summer, we really haven't seen much of him, and I am sure he had all that built up inside until it reared its ugly head.

Froy's problem isn't that he crossed the line. It was his inability to understand that he actually did, even when those he considered friends here told him he did so.

This escapade was simply the straw that broke the camels perverbial back. I'll miss froy and his one point position. But his behavior lately was unacceptable. Hell, he even went after Suite.

Maybe someday Froy can come back. But at least for now he needs to take a time out.

I'll miss the banter he provided, but no one can say that Andrew didn't give him adequate warning.

Yes he went after me and believe me, he sure got an earful. He has seen and heard the other side of Suite when I'm not a happy camper and it's not pretty.

I do think some of his posts were very funny and how they were written was even funnier. BUT, what he did and the reason he was booted was over the line on a message board. Just my opinion.

Yogi, a while ago I was reading back at some of the very old pages and you and Froy were pretty funny with your comebacks to each other, most of it seemed very tame. Gr8dane, yes he does make me "LOL" a lot and I do love to laugh.

Hope no one gets mad, but this will be the only time that I post for Froy until he comes back, if he comes back.

Before I leave for the concert tonight, I thought I'd leave you Froy's responses to Yogi's post here, these are written by him. Actually I left two of them blank on purpose, otherwise I left these comments the exact same way he wrote them.

9. Because Its High Time For Us To Start A Revolution

Just like an A bomb explosion

8. Back in 2000 departing President Clinton even pardoned Robert Orin Charles Kilroy for his Kilroy was Here album, and his efforts on Brave New World.

Was Kilroy a tool also?

7. Because he has not eaten at Arby's in well over 2 years
.

A least he takes a bath thats more than some members of STYX can say

6. Because he is a main character in Suite's upcoming book.

Titled I told Tommy to Shove It ,

5. Because he is a main character in Suzanne's upcoming book.

Titled
If I could sing I would sing to Froy.

4. how are any of us going to know when the current rendition of Styx is about to fold.

The band will pay you to see them.

2. Because JY would be allowed to post here. And whats worse stealing an avatar or stealing a band???

A face lift .

1. Because he brought in to all of our lives Chunks The Dog

Memories like the corners of my mind .

I must have missed something (not the first time), was Froy suspended on this website? I have posted on the politics site a few times and see a disturbing trend over there, as well. Regardless of which side you stand politically, I always thought that these boards would not tolerate beligerent behavior from anybody. That is obviously not the case. Take a stroll, when you have time on your hands (song plug) through some of the politic dialog, relax your political stand and just simply read through them. They have two people who do most of the talking over there, both non Americans, one in paticular who if you disagree with his opinion, makes Froy look like the little drummer boy. I myself tied in with this individual, he is very obnoxious, for instance he can't seem to make a point without invoking the "F" word. He has called me several names, and when I call him out on it, his female counterpart immediately rushes to his aid. I noticed one or two people that matched his beligerence were called out and one eventually suspeneded from that board. I have yet to see this guy being called out, maybe a long time ago, there are a million posts over there, and nobody has that much time on their hands.
Granted Froy does go over the top, but I am very curious if somebody just as passionate for the other side were to do the same, would they in fact be called out? We shall see.

LOTR, I'll have to go read up over there.....I posted a time or 2 on that board, but you are right, it's a very exclusive club over there, not exactly looking to welcome newcomers or dissenting viewpoints.

Froy' threat to publish Monker's home address and phone number all over the web might have been the last straw.

Andrew usually scolds us and we calm down for a while. But that was the over the line part for me.

Froy was given a holiday due to his actions, not because of his beliefs...he was out of line, then instead of apologizing, threw shit at me and I have no time for that crap.

If he apologizes, I will always listen.
