Last week on Stern they had comedian Jim Breuer (sp?) on.

He was talking about a gig he was doing and mentioned Styx was also there. Howard then asked what song they were famous for and then started singing "Lady"... they sung a bit of it goofily... then sidekick Artie starting singing "Come Sail Away"

Breur then said "but they don't have the singer anymore!" and Howard was like "oh they're one of those bands go get a guy that sounds like the guy."

Breur went on and they started goofing on Mr. Roboto and Breur said that's when they lost him [as a fan].

And Jim Breuer is such a hot property these days ?

Howie still is collecting a pretty sizabel paycheck tho......but his legacy still may be as the guy who sent Sirius into bankruptcy 8)

Jim Breuer is funny as hell!

BTW, I was watching Jump Start (VH1) this morning while getting ready for work and they were talking to Shakira about her new CD. She was wearing a vintage STYX shirt!

That would be the next touring buddy....Shakira and Styx. That's the second time she's done an interview with a Styx shirt on

I seem to remember many moons ago Robin Quivers having the hots for Tommy shaw on one show. Seems like the discussion was about A&M records and Howard asked what big group came from there, and somebody mentioned Styx, I think Howard said he liked them and Robin was ape shit over TS. Now I am sure they are too cool and hip to remember Styx. I like Howard, but he does the same old styck, he runs down anybody that doesn't do his show and the minute they finally succumb, all of a sudden they are wonderful, i.e.: Roseann, Sammy Hagar, Chevy Chase, Grease Man, Paul McCartney, Sienfeld, etc, etc.
