Dennis' performance on Star Academie (Quebec) is up and running on his site:

http://www.dennisdeyoung.com/

It's better to see it on DVD, I get goosebumps. I personally think the first guy was the best. If anyone has any doubts about Dennis' voice really has to watch this :)

Welcome to the 21st century, Dennis!

Nice to see they were able to do this on his website. The sound quality is pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up, Suite.

That was a pretty cool clip. DDY definately sounds better today than Perry does. ;) I am glad DDY is out there performing and he has found a way to present it that keeps him interested.

More than Dennis just sounding great, he looked like he was really having a great time too. Nice to see that he seems to be coming into his own, and if anything his solo career would appear to be on the upswing. Way to go!

Now remember, Suite, Scott has to occasionally prove his loyalty to the LGFC and the esteemed office he holds therein.

I love your Derek, Nigel and David avatar, Suite!!! 11 thumbs up!!:D

Very nice clip, good to see Dennis in such a good singing shape. But I still doubt that I would like his solo stuff, it´s probably too far-removed from rock.

Yes. That was Gowan. He has been reduced to "trying out" again for Styx by appearing on a Canadian version of American Idol. (Note: Someone else was singing for him. He was only lip synching.)

I just saw this tonight.

Did anyone watch the interview portion after the song? The part where Dennis said that the DVD had gone gold in Canada?

Was I the only one who caught this?

Not sure what gold *IS* in Canada tho... but still.

P.S. I'm recovering from my "wounds" :(

I think Suite posted that info on another thread. It is nice to hear that his DVD is so successful up there. I bet a lot of people bought it just for "Suite Madame Blue," which on that Soundstage DVD, is stunning.

His double live CD is selling very well up there, too.

Hope you are ok, Ash. Glad to see you posting again.
