I read this on another site and through emails.
Ricky Phillips injured himself the other night in Arizona. While he was onstage, he managed to pull his Achilles Heel tendon, and will be laid up for quite a while. Depending on how serious they determine the injury is, it could be weeks to months before he is completely healed.
So do they replace him if he is held up for months? Glen?

Glen would be a good replacement, always could bring the chuckster back. BUT, the group needs to lay low for a while. Take time off and do other things, no one is going to forget them. Attendance could go up.-ERIC

What a shame for Ricky! I actually think he could still play. Likely they could have a situation where he sits, plays and sings until he can put a little weight on the injured leg. Just no Rock Star poses for awhile.

Hopefully he'll recover soon. While it may not be rock star I think he could still perform by sitting.
Either way...wishing him a speedy recovery.
