Here's for all the Tommy fans :)

Hello Friends,

Happy 2006!

We got back from Orlando yesterday afternoon after sleeping in and catching a 1:00 PM flight to Los Angeles. The Orlando airport was a madhouse with security lines that seemed to extend into infinity. So many inexperienced travelers figuring trying to out what to do next that there was this exponential slowing down effect like that which happens when people pause during rush hour to see the broken down car on the shoulder and causing a massive traffic jam. I will say there were quite a few grumpy people who seemed like they'd have been better staying an extra day and sleeping it off! You just had to be patient.

We arrived in Orlando on the evening of the 30th and the next day we headed over to City Walk where the stage and all the TV and Sound trucks were to get briefed on how the show was hoping to run, making sure we'd all coordinate things for the New Year countdown. But before that, Jeanne, Jason and I met our friend Chris for a VIP spin through the park, starting first with the "Incredible Hulk Coaster Experience." Everything was a bit of a dizzy blur for the rest of the rides we took after that. I think my blood has just about settled back into the rest of my body. It was the most mind shattering roller coaster experience I've ever had.

We hope you all had a memorable New Year's Eve experience. The show was fun, challenging at times as we skated around the schedule, and the crowd was great.

It's raining here in Southern California but things are a lot worse up north.

I must admit it's been nice sleeping in my own bed for over a month now. It was a busy 2005 and we all spent a boat load of nights in hotels, but we did spread some STYX love all around so it was well worth it.

We'll see you again soon. Until then...

Love to you all,

TS

Thanks for the weather report and the airport updates we just could not get on without them.
One other thing you spread more STYX hate and spite than you do love. Thought you might need a reality check.

Thanks Tommy for letting us know what a good year you had, and the fun you had on the road. Look forward to seeing you and Styx, along with any former member of Styx, out on the road in 06-ERIC

So many burning questions about the year ahead.......like what style of music will Blue Collar Man be done in this year ??? Will Styx "Ballads" be released this year ? will it have any DDY penned songs on it ? Which members will be sidelined or slowed down due to denial of advancing age while on stage ?????

these and so many more will be answered as the year 2006 unfolds !!
Stay tuned !

Styx Ballads is probably the best way for them to make a few bucks on repackaged material....they've exhausted just about every other avenue to repackage their stuff, havent they ?

Just wondering ???? Could BCM be re-made as a ballad ???

I have it on dvd. The show was in total about 90 minutes.

Still trying to figure out my new dvd recorder so i titled it wrong, the chapters are screwy, and I have a separate episode that has nothing in it.

Watching it, I was curious if they played songs in between the two sets as the other acts performed. But I haven't heard or even really looked.

Chuck played from Fooling Yourself on. Ricky got around better than I thought he would of. And Todd was phenominal in the shots they showed of him.

LOL, NH! I got some of the strangest DVD's when I first got my DVR! I finally figured out how to do everything but it was like going back to school to do so!

I know you will enjoy having it and I'm glad you were able to capture the show.

The menus on it are pretty cryptic and the manual sucks, but I am starting to get the hang of it, at least the basic recording part.

If anyone wants a copy drop me a note and I'll burn copies of it for you.

Actually it's not new Froy, you called me that before on the board here and on the phone. If I were YOU, I wouldn't be calling me that anymore.

And I told Shaw to get back to bed all new Froy material.
