Was wondering what everone thought was the top 3 cds of the year 2005

1) Journey-Generations One of the best cds I have in my 1,000 plus cds.

2) Styx-BBT- Yes it is good, songs I dindn't know or care about brought to life, and very good at that.

3) DDY-The Music of Styx, Very good, in away the way the songs should have sounded.

These are my top 3. Slow year uh.........
Journey would have made it, The others two would have been in top 10, (They are really good too), but nothing really good come out anymore, IMO-ERIC

1. Goo Goo Dolls - Live In Buffalo (technically 2004, but I picked it up in 2005)
2. Bon Jovi - Have A Nice Day (I'm amazed at how good this is)
3. Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists

Honorable Mention:

Bowling For Soup - A Hangover You Don't Deserve

It must have been a very slow year, because for me there are no standout albums of the year. There is one huge disappointment though, The Darkness 'One Way Ticket to Hell and Back'.

Dreadful.

After 'Permission to Land' I really had high hopes for this band.

I bought mostly older cd's last years. I'll catch up this year - LOL

I do have both of the Journey Generations cd. Pretty good cd. I also liked Barbra Streisand/Barry Gibb cd (LOL) and Kelly Clarkson/Breakaway.

I just received a stack of new cd's from newer bands that I'll be listening to, hopefully this week.
