Like what? I am vey curious to see what is in your collection.

I still have over 300 albums. But growing up in the 80's, I don't have many of what I would call 'essential' albums. But I do have every Journey album released. I have Paradise Theater. I have the complete Cheap Trick catalog on vinyl. I have the first 3 Def Leppard records, many Heart records, etc.

I still have my albums. Threw away all my cassettes, though.

I have some Aldo Nova, Donnie Iris, Journey (of course), Triumph, Sammy, VH, Bon Jovi, Crue. Some of the weirder ones I have are Scandal, Til Tuesday, Missing Persons.

I have several boxes of albums down in the basement. Many have been replaced by cd's of course. Kind of nice to look at the album covers though...at least you got a better view of the artwork. LOL

I am (very) slowly working on transferring a bunch of my vinyl to CD. The stuff I still really want to listen to. I got these really cool CD-r's that look like records, with vinyl ridges and everything. When I get my new scanner (my old one died in the move last year) I will continue to scan the artwork and make all the labels as well. It takes a while, but I love the end result!

Geez, Dave, by the time you're done there will be another format out!

I think the way to go these days is all digital. I got a nice laptop with a big hard drive, and I put all my music on it. You can buy something that enables you to play the music wirelessly on your home stereo from your computer. I am just starting to look into that. No more CDs for this guy! I use the iPod in the car.

I don't even know half the stuff that my dad gave me. I haven't had time to listen to it.

I am at college right now and it is all back home so I'll have to look through it to see what I got for ya'll

Marry somebody with your taste in music and you doubled your collection. That's two closets full. Some different stuff included Nu Shooz (remember those guys...I can't wait), Prince Around the World in a Day, those Led Zepplin Albums that had two songs on one side, Paul McCartney and Wings, Asia, The Rasberries, Kiss, K-Tel songs of the 70s, The Batman Theme by the Marketts, Petula Clark, The Zombies, America, and some Monty Python Records.

I asked my dad to Catalogue all of the old records that he gave me, So I should hopefully have a list for all of those that were wondering what I had.
