If you could "do over" anything in your life what would it be????

I used to have a few of these. But the older I get, the more I realize that changes would have consequences. And going through the things in my life that I have gone through make me who I am. And I am good with who I am...

When I was a teen or so, there are certain people I thought highly of that I never told. They never knew the positive thought or feelings that I had for them. As I grew older, that is something that I always regreted...and tried to not allow to happen again.

When Tommy was on AOL and his Email address was becoming known, I sent him an Email. I told him that I thought he was a great songwriter and what some of his songs meant to me. He replied to me and said, "The greatest compliment an artist can receive is to be told that his work has touched someone in a special way."

What Tommy said can easily be expanded. I believe when someone does touch your life in a special way you should ALWAYS tell them. Nothing bad can really result from it. In fact, if you don't say it, you may end up regretting it.

I always have lived each day like it was my last for most of my life. I wouldn't want to do over anything over just like jrnyman28 said, that changes would have consequences.

I guess the only thing would've been is to have had better grades in high school.

:)

Nice post Monker!!

I think I would have to say to be a non smoker.
It is the worst thing I could have done.
And still do

Monker! Wonderful post, and so true. I agree completely.

Mostly, I am a "close that door baby, turn the page" kind of person, so there are not a lot of things I would do over in my life. A few, but I try to be positive, look ahead to what is next, and appreciate the good things that are now behind me.

For the most part, "life's been good to me so far."

I don't know that I would do anything differently...not because I don't regret some of the choices I've made in my life...but rather because if I had chosen differently, I might not have to learned to appreciate the lessons those choices taught me. Hopefully, they've made me into a better person....better than what....now that is the question
