Whoops, I thought you said it was YOUR twenty four thousandth post Suite. Well, you're probably not to far from it. Ha Ha! I guess that puts us all well ahead of the other band forums on here of people PASSIONATE about their band.

actually, the Journey board is less than 1,000 posts behind, and at the present rate will overtake this board by mid march. they were around 2,000 posts behhind at new years.
no biggie though....much less personal drama over here.

Journey=half the topics, almost the same number of posts. And that is not including the Perry board...
But I could do without some of the drama as well.
BTW, since this board used to get pretty heated as well, did this board go through a surge due to drama as well?

Egad that crazy Journey board!! Do they even talk about the music?? Just kidding, for those sensitive non-joking people - LOL!! They'll over take the Styx forum by the end of next week - LOL
A lot less personal drama over here, no kidding!!

Drama??? I don't know what's better, reading the posts on the Journey/Steve Perry board or watching "Days of Our Lives"
BTW, since this board used to get pretty heated as well, did this board go through a surge due to drama as well?
I don't think we had too many threads "locked" like you guys do at the Journey board - LOL Only a few, but it never got that bad. Just the usual, Styx is over, blah blah blah
I don't think things ever got way too personal either.

I'll try my best!! I need to drink at least 2 cans of Monster Energy or 5 cans of Mt. Dew and they won't have a chance to pass us up!! Once I get on a roll, I get on a roll.
Not too much drama lately on here. But I'm sure we can get some started soon - LOL Just kidding

Actually SMB, it really depends if I come out of retirement as to whether you guys hold the lead or not. Remember, The Journey boards was closed down completely once, and was in lock down for a week last summer. Technically, The Journey board has a lot more posts, but that isn't something to be proud of is it?

Just for the record Deano, I think I speak for most everyone "over here" in sincerely wishing you a 2006 ( or at least the rest of it ) of accident free remission filled health. seems you have more than fulfilled your lifetime quota of problems in one 12 month period........
I'm sure you wouldnt mind a boring / probelm free stretch starting now, would you ?

What some view as passion or drama others view with tired acceptance. Variety of opinions and expressing them is a good thing, but beating that poor dead horse is just a bit stagnant for many here at this point.
I myself could care less the number of posts made. It is not an accurate indicator of "popularity" given the meanderings of the various topics, the silly, amusing comebacks (and you know who you are giving those

), and just chatting in general. That being said...I think if you enjoy posting...then have a ball.
I think we all wish health and happiness for those who have had their share of troubles.
Peace

I just posted the number because I just noticed the amount of posts and it was such a cute big number. Sheesh
Who cares about being popular, I enjoy posting on here whether it be Styx topics or off topics.
I do enjoy posting and I will continue having a ball.

Hey I wasn't complaining. I understood the point. Now...when we get to 25,000...the rockets will soar...fireworks will spark...it will be a celebration of epic proportions

Yes,it is kind of dead. But Styx' new date is an outdoor festival in London Ontario with local boy Kim Mitchell, and the day after Alice Cooper is playing. As seen on the styxworld live update. This sounds good to me.
Saw Alice last year and he was excellent.
Not sure I'll go, but I'll see.Probably prefer this to a show at Rama.

Gr8dane, I really loved Rama!! I would love to go back there again. I thought it was a great venue and the sound system was one of the best that I heard a concert at. If there wasn't so many politics still going on with this crazy band, I'd see Dennis up there. But I doubt that's going to happen.

Hi Moon Beam
I agree with the harmonies of Styx!! I personally think their the best band ever with the harmonies!! Most of the pre-1999 songs were written specifically for the 3 harmonies, which I didn't know until this last summer.
I love "Suite Madame Blue" too one of the best songs ever!!
