An old favorite of mine...

Valentine’s Day
Hearts and roses and kisses galore...
What the hell is all that shit for?
People get mushy and start acting queer
It is definitely the most annoying day of the year
This day needs to get the hell over with and pass
Before I shove a dozen roses up Cupid's ass
I'll spend the day so drunk I can't speak
And wear only black for the rest of the week
Guys act all sweet, but it soon will fade
For all they are doing is trying to get laid
The arrow Cupid shot at me must not have hit
Because I think love is a crock of shit
So here's my story...what else can I say?
Love bites my ass...Fuck Valentines Day!

Definitely makes a point.

For those who do celebrate...may it be a good one...for those who view it as a Hallmark holiday...celebrate that it comes but once a year (unless of course you count Sweetest Day) :roll:

1. he is a sap
2. he is ruining it for the rest of us
3. You better hang on to him....saps like him dont grow on trees ya know !!!!

I think just the high school kids celebrate this day here in Wisconsin. They always have their dances on the Sweetest Day Saturday.

I am glad the chocolates were delicious. As a proud flatlander, I can honestly tell you...any man actively promoting Sweetest Day here is only setting himself up for misery from his friends. As a veteran of nearly 20 years of marriage I can also tell you...Valentine's Day lost its appeal long ago...and Sweetest never had any appeal to begin with. LOL

High school is different. I mean come on... I remember sending carnations on secret admirer day...as well as being one of the "elves" to deliver them. Any time after high school...Sweetest Day...not to be observed

Hallmark and it's retail locations celebrate in every state quite well yes. Not to mention chocolate companies, florists, and a few others. But who am I to stop commerce :twisted:
