Being the old boomer on this list, I remember well when S & G first started out. I saw them at a small theater in Austin, prior to when the whole "Graduate" thing rocketed them to superstardom.

It was just Paul with his guitar and Art and those amazing voices and harmonies. VERY spare and pared down and wonderful.

Which leads me to.....

What I am listening to now is a duo called Storyhill. Saw them live the other week. Two guys and acoustic guitars who echo the music of Crosby and Nash and, yes, Simon and Garfunkel, though more folk sounding than the latter. Really nice, pleasant music and wonderful harmonies.

I got to see S&G live in the early 80's.........twas a fairly large production, being a reunion tour and all....I would have loved to see them "unplugged" as Bugsy did.......but being 8 years old at the time, Mom and dad would have no part of it !

Has anyone viewed the DVD of their most recent tour ? I have mixed feelings about this, I wonder if I want to see these guys at their advanced age......if anyone has seen, your opinion would hold much sway for me.

Still loving Sunset & Vine by Shy. Check out some samples. They are Britain's version of Journey, and they sound great.

I highly recommend tracks 3, 7 and 10.

Picked up Mutter by Rammstein the other day (on a whim). OMG, I've been listening to it non stop since. Definitely my latest fettish. Can't even understand a word they're saying, cause it's all in German, but I'm totally addicted. A little reminiscent of my boys from Accept - woo hoo!
