Yes that's true, But I am guessing that there would be some type of promotional support by VH1_Classic, HOB, or someone else.

If they are going to get together, I would actually like to see them do an arena tour like they did with Journey and Reo a couple of years back where they can run a bit long if they need to and do full sets with each band.

STYX
Night Ranger
Damn Yankees
Ted
Shaw Blades

or here's another pairing

Have the Babies reform and tour with them for a 25-30 date run over 6 weeks. There are enough 10,000 seat venues that could support either tour.

I think Tommy would be a little pooped out - LOL The line up would have to go like this:

Styx
Damn Yankees
Night Ranger
Ted
Shaw/Blades

This all would happen, it's JY that's holding it up.

I love the Baby's!!! I don't know if Jonathan would be able to make it, you know with touring and stuff - LOL Unless you add Journey in the mix.

Didn't mean that was the sequence of the acts.

They could do it during some down time for Journey, It would only be six weeks or so, or what the hell bring journey along too, but they would have to play in the middle to give Tommy and Jack some time to rest their voices during each night's performance. Of course if Journey tagged along, we would have to add Bad English to the groups too. But would that be a bad thing?

Now that the concert is running six or eight hours long, we are running into an OZFEST type of thing.

I'd love to see a Babys reunion but don't think there's enough of a demand.
I'm jonesing for a Night Ranger fix too. They don't get to my area enough.

A 'Baby's" reunion would not need to feature Jon Cain. There was a band before him...;)

Right, Mike Corby was the keyboardist before Cain. I'd love to see it happen!

If I want to see a Baby's reunion I have to have Cain in the line up, that's just me. That's the line up I want to see. I love that Jonathan Cain!!

It would be like an Ozz Fest with all those bands. I'd go, I'd make a weekend out of it. It would need a catch-y name - I'm sure most of you can come up with a good name.

I guess this would be the line up for the day / night show:

Shaw / Blades
The Storm
Shooting Star
Greg Rollie Band
Ted Nugent
The Baby's
Night Ranger
Damn Yankees
Styx
Journey
Dennis DeYoung

I thought Cain was the better keyboardist for sure. But I'd still love to see A Babys reunion in any way shape or form. I was lucky enough to see them in May 1980 with Jon in the lineup. He sang Turn Around In Tokyo.

How was the concert Jimmy?

You went to Tokyo?

Excellent! The Babys came out opening with Back On My Feet Again. John Waite had an undershirt on since it was so hot that night. They also sang Turn Around In Tokyo, Everytime I Think Of You, Isn't It Time, Broken Heart/Wrong or Right, Run to Mexico, True Love/True Confessions, California, Midnight Rendezvous(a scorcher!), Jesus...Are You There? Looking for Love and Head First.

The show was at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA on May 9th, 1980. The song Turn Around In Tokyo was one by Jon that he sang on their Union Jacks album and played at our show. I wish I'd gone to Tokyo1 That would've been cool!

I was just kidding about you going to Toyko (Japan)!! I was just being a smarta$$ - LOL

I'm glad you had a great time at the concert. I saw John Waite back in the 80's, then again a few years ago a couple of times. He still has an amazing voice.

I love the music of the Baby's!!!

And then On The Edge came out in late 1980. I liked it even better than Union Jacks. The Babys toured and booked into the Tower Theater again in December 1980. That week John Lennon was killed and John Waite injured his knee onstage at a concert in Ohio. The Tower show was canceled and I was bummed. The next thing I knew, Cain was off to join Journey, Waite was off to go solo and The Babys decided to disband in early 1981 after they'd first considered continuing with Anne Marie LeClerc(their back up singer) as the new lead singer.

He also did a solo song called "Stick to Your Guns", or somethng like that. I don't remember. I have it on video somewhere.

Stick To Your Guns, yes. He didn't play that at our show but I know he did perform it in many of their 1979 shows. He pulled it off the Union Jacks album at the last minute since he felt it didn't fit in with the rest of the songs.
