Glen on the west coast.... rockin.

I consider this to be half of Styx. Just my opinion.

Could you imagine Dennis and Chuck patching things up and him making a few guest appearances? That would smoke :)

I've talked to someone that is close to Chuck and the basic jist of Chuck and Dennis getting together just isn't going to happen.

That's too bad these grown men just can't get along. UGH They act like a bunch of kids. LOL

It would be nice to see Chuck on stage joining Dennis and Glen for one or two shows.

Darren, why can't both you and Leesa just fly up to Jersey?? Just kidding. It would be great to meet the both of you!!!

It is to bad.

And speaking only for my own thoughts...

At the moment, I would guess that Chuck would be hesitant to hurt the relationship he currently has with Styx and wouldn't want to put that in jeopardy.

I am still hopeful that at some point in the future, we will see them all together again. Tommy, JY, Chuck, Dennis, Todd, Ricky, Glen, and Larry.

But I would also think there needs to be 2 more original material albums released before they would even consider it. Each would sing the songs they fronted. I would say look around 2010 or so, maybe 2012.

But the phone rings both ways and someone has to take the high road.
Neither is willing to right now, so it seems.

Im not so sure if its gonna take that long that it will be worth seeing....

Personally, I envision Dennis going the route of David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, who, after this tour to support his new CD is very likely to call it a career, and enjoy his golden years out of the spotlight.

In 2012, wont a couple of the boys be pushing 65 ??? YIKES !!!!

yes they will.

Do you think that after a tour supporting his new album that Dennis will really call it quits?

That would mean that you only expect him to have another 10-12 "quality" songs left in him.

I would think that if Dennis decides to call an end to his rock chapter, he might try to get Hunchback back on track.

I'd also like to just have him take the route of Rod Stewart and record a bunch of "Songbooks". I really liked 10 on Broadway, the songs suited him well. "10 on..." could become a series for him.

Why would Dennis call it quits any more than Tommy or JY would with Styx? What is it about what he is doing that leads you to believe that is even a remote possibility? A hunch?

He's having a lot of success in Canada - and he's not doing bad considering all the crap both camps have had to put up with the last 7 years. He could continue on doing shows and playing concerts as long as his voice and health hold together. And if he is making money doing it then why would he want to stop? Granted - he will be 60 years old next year - but aside from his gray hair he hardly looks it.

I dunno... I think Dennis will do what Dennis wants to do. If he hangs it up and calls it a career I'll be fine with it. I just don't think you should be writing anyones obit quite yet :) (musically speaking)

Besides - Tommy is only 5 years behind Dennis... and JY's not that far.

I could go into a whole diatribe about how pathetic it looks to see 60 year old men jumping around on stage like something out of Spinal Tap and that they should grow old gracefully.

Kinda weird really.... Tommy talks about wanting to bring in new fans and what not and to what end? So they can get interested just in time for them to hang it up?

I think at this point anything anyone says here is a hunch or guess.

With Dennis' recent sellouts in Canada and Styx ability to continue the second leg of the never ending tour, both have made their point.

As long as we are at it... As to Chuck. I think Dennis places a lot of stock in loyalty. (He is half Italian, you know. :P ). Chuck showed where his loyalty lay and the rift that will not heal between those two formed.

As to continuing careers. I get the impression both Dennis and Current Styx will continue to work as long as they are able and, more importanly, really want to.

If they are all financially secure, then the performing and recording will only be because they love the stage and the spotlight so much. It is what makes all of them tick, so-to-speak.

I think Dennis has potentional to go in a lot of different directions as long as his voice holds up, but he can also write and produce if he would like to do that.

In the Current Styx camp, Tommy has the most marketable skills as a solo entertainer, or perhaps getting together with people like Jack Blades or someone else for a two-man show.

My hunch/guess. :)
