LOVE Neil (and *I'm* only 35, so there, old fart ;-)). I was named after a song he covered (old Cohen song, anyone know?). I think he's great - and prophetic as hell.

Suzanne
Journey did a song by this name also.
Did you click on the first link the windows media ?
It shows the video as well.

You're a winner! :-D

It is Suzanne. But I don't care for Leonard Cohen's version too much. Too depressing - not the song, but the way he sings it. LOL Neil's is terrific. Judy Collins did a good job on it too.

Journey's Suzanne doesn't do very much for me either.

Damn - Just watched him sing "I Am, I Said."

My favorite Neil song is "If You Go Away" off the Stones album. It's indescribable. Sometimes it's the simple songs that grab me the most.

If you ever get a chance to hear Unchained Melody off of Stages Neil just puts so much passion into it Its better than the original.
Glad you enjoy Neil
I have lsitened to him since I was 12 years old.

Anyone who loves Neil Diamond is not qualified to judge anyone else's musical tastes. :P

I could not get the video to open, Froy. I will try again later.

I love the old Neil Diamond stuff. One favorite is September Morn (sounds SO good on that one).

Love both of Neil's Suzanne and If You Go Away covers, too, Zan.

Great album -- Hot August Night. One of the few live albums I like. The opening of that is one of the best I have ever heard on any recording.

This old boomer remembers when Neil was a hot, young stud and not an old guy in sparkly shirts who only has about a 3 note range now. (Thank you for smoking, Neil -- NOT!)

Bugsy

No, because anyone with testicles would not have written how great Neil Diamond looks.

Wow

i'm sure the crowd knows those, those are great songs. but he didn't play those as his last song or 2. at the very end he played something no one knew. not sure what the hell it was.

Neil is ok in my book Froy. I picked up a girl one night slow dancing to turn on your Heart light, back in college.
