I have lost touch with the board for a while. I am up in Minnesota. My father is in the hospital as he continues to battle cancer.

Anyway, the reason I am posting is that in todays St. Paul paper it has the acts for this years Taste Of Minnesota. It takes place from around June 30 - July 4.

I dont have the paper with me but some of the acts include: Alice Cooper, Soul Asylum, Rodger Hodgeson, Engle Dan an ELO cover band, some country acts plus many many others( I am forgetting some name acts). The lineup seems solid.

I have been to A Taste Of Minnesota before and it is awesome. All the shows are free, and the bands I have seen there play full sets( 1.5-2.5 hours). It is worth the drive if you are close enough.

I wish I could go up there for the Taste of Minnesota (Vikings country, can't do it) LOL !

I love going to the festivals to see bands/artists, they're the best. Alice Cooper will be at Summerfest. Roger Hodgson will be in my backyard at the Taste of Waukesha. And I'm planning to go down to Chicago for the Taste of Chicago. And don't forget the food !!!

David Cassidy & Davy Jones( Monkees ) are also playing at A Taste Of Minnesota.

I don't have any respect for David Cassidy at all. All I can say is YIKES to what I've seen backstage with him. And then to see his performance, not too good. He was having a bad day.

aint it davey jones, cassidy and the singer from herman's hermits, that would be cool, I would love to see Alice Cooper, Soul Asylum and Dwight Twilley but I don't see myself staying up there that long or hiking up there a few times, but maybe I'll try to see alice and dwight, that would be awesome
