How come Stynx hasn't done what Journey did and release a greatest hits DVD? The Journey one is good...18 videos on a $9 DVD.

Because Journey's Label knows how to promote them..

And because different people own the rights to different songs and won't let the other side benefit from thir work.

There is the A&M DVD you can get for like 5 bucks. Has 5 videos or so on it. Dennis has his DVD too with all of his A&M videos.

I talked to JY about CITA and he said they would like to see it on DVD, the full show including the stuff left off the original VHS release (with Miss AMerica, Fooling Yourself, etc).

But yep, with members still fighting over song rights it only hurts the fans. Would love to see a greatest hits DVD package.

That's pretty much what I have on VHS (all the MTV-type videos ever made), but also have Top Of The World by JY and No Such Thing by Tommy. Haven't watched stuff videos in YEARS. ALso have the Tommy live at Notre Dame show and the "alternate" Girls With Guns video (the color one). I'll have to get a DVD recorder and convert the stuff over.

Was there a commercial video make for This Is The Time? I didn't know, but had always heard rumors of one being made.

I am like you DJMike, had everything on VHS but transferred over to DVD a few years back. A good friend, who is a big-time video collecter, made a nice DVD for me with nearly every Styx/DDY video that has been shown on VH1 Classic.

This is the Time does have a commercial video. Word is it was left off of DDY's collection because of the Karate Kid II footage on it. It is a nice video.
