Not suprised it closed at all. Although, VERY Interesting reading...was getting a WEE bit heated. Just hope it gets reopened after Andrew reviews everything. It's a MUCH better forum than the "OTHER" one. lol.

ANYWAY...Anyone know if DDY is planning on coming to Texas again anytime soon? And for that matter...Styx? Been trying to plan my concert season and these are 2 that I'd like to see. I wouldn't mind seeing Styx in Bethlehem PA though. Just don't have the cash flow to do so. Shame. They're playing at Musikfest in downtown and the last band I saw there was Diamond Rio. Pretty good...but just not for me.

I don't. In fact, he should have closed it weeks ago. He should keep it closed at least until the end of the tour. There needs to be some REAL consequence when people act like that after REPEATED warnings from Andrew. If there isn't, then it may as well be a newsgroup.

Sometimes it is...But, the way it has been for the past month or so - THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL IT IS. It's useless unless you want to butt heads with either the Perry fans or Dean. There is NO Journey "discussion" allowed by those two crowds.

Most people who frequent the Journey forum are very civil. It's a handful of people who thrive on drama and "controversy" who cause all of the trouble. It's not unlike most message boards. Although the recent topic drew a bunch of new posters from the other board, which I have never seen happen.

Good for Andrew, sucks for us. I've posted here a few times cuz I'm a big Styx fan.

Doesn't seem to be fair that a few of us Journey fans paid the price for someone elses mistake. Their grade school behavior was deplorable so I'm sure Andrew did the best thing.

Rock on Styx! Don't see Florida on their schedule for the last half of this year. Perhaps I'll get to see them again next year.

Actually I like Andrew - he's a good guy.

But why the hell doesn't he just ban the accounts of the trouble makers and keep the board open? PHPBB does allow you to do that. I know it's a bigger pain in the ass to do it that way, but it seems like it would be fairer.

That said, I totally support him for closing that board if he thinks it's necessary or he's just not wanting to deal with it. Nobody is paying him for the use of the board - so it's nothing but a loss leader for him from a business perspective.

Be glad I don't run this forum, I'd have much less tollerance.

Yea, that Rock'nDeano guy should have been banned long ago.

I also don't like how he attempts to portray Andrew as condoning his behavior saying things like "Andrew let it happen".

All Andrew did was create a great forum for people to discuss their favorite music.

This guy is a certifiable whack-job.

I would hope that Andrew reopens the forum and
banishes the ones that make trouble.
Most of us enjoy reading and participating on the boards.
