I gotta be honest. As much as I may disagree with JY the curmudgeon, I still enjoy most of his songs. He doesn't have many, but the few he does have tend not to be stinkers. At least where Styx is concerned. This may be the easy way out, but for my top ten:

The ENTIRE 'Out on a Day Pass' album. Complete and total crapola.

JESUS - the ENTIRE "Out On A Day Pass Album" For Christ's sake... thats the worst use of plastic and metal in the known universe.

When the guy who invented CD technology heard that album, he burned himself alive in effigy because he was so embarrased.

Whats worse is:

SIIIIIITING on TOOOOOOP of the WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD

I lose a lung just thinking about it.

You gotta go out of your way to compose AN ENTIRE ALBUM made up of songs worse than "Boys Will Be Boys" (DDY's Worst Song IMO)... but leave it to JY to STEP UP TO THE PLATE for humanity.

This thread cracks me up.

Yeah no shit. JY's solo output isn't exactly ... stellar. That's a nice way of putting it.

Although as a whole album, you have to hand it to Tommy for 7DZ or What If for being pretty bad as well. DDY's solo stuff is pretty consistent (some of it isn't the best he's ever done, either) in what it is.

Can we just say the entire JY catalog except for..

Miss America
Half Penny Two Penny
Double Life
Midnight Ride
These Are the Times

And a few Wooden Nickle tunes (and these I don't know what were written by Dennis).

And yes, Zan, I agree with you on Snowblind. For a song that achieved its any noteworthiness due to what was on it backwards vs. what was on it front wards, it gets played entirely too much. In my opinion, the 3 big songs off Paradise were BOT, TMTOMH, and AD1928/RTP. Of course there were other good ones (HPTP, LP, NEGAP) but Snowblind isn't one of em.
