I am wondering if anybody will be going to see The Who when they begin their tour soon. I will be heading to the Wednesday, October 11, 2006 show at Key Arena in Seattle, WA.

Got tickets to see the Who on October 6th here in Edmonton. Looking forward to that show!

This is probably the slowest concert year I've had in quite some time honestly, more then likely going to be Dennis Deyoung (one more time on November 4th) and the Who.

Would love to see Roger Waters or John Fogerty, but alas, they won't come anywhere near Edmonton this year.

Barbara Streisand..... she's a word I won't repeat on a forum. I'd say it if we were in a room talking, but I won't say it on a forum. It's a four letter word tho.... and ends with a t. And I'd never pay her a penny to see her ignorant, ill informed ass spout bullshit. (yeah I know - how do I really feel).

I saw the Who in 1989 on the Kids are Alright tour... I was in nosebleed heaven. I've cooled on the Who.... ever since Pete was found with Kiddie porn on his computer I've not been as crazy about him. I like roger daltry's singing tho... and it really won't be the same without John Entwistle. He may not have been a key songwriting part - but he was a monument on stage (at least he stood like one) :)

I missed Fogerty when he came through Nashville with Willie Nelson - even though a buddy I work with saw Willie jogging in the park beside my office the morning before the concert.

I'm hoping Stone Sour will come through Nashville.... again... since I missed them too :(

Does that 4 letter word start with a C perchance??

Re; Townshend,he was looking into the porn/abuse thing, because ,supposedly he was abused as a kid himself.Police investigated and found no reason to believe he was guilty in the matter.

Ash,

I'm right there with ya on Babs. Rather cunning isn't she?

As far as Townsend, I'm of the firm belief that there is NO good reason to have kiddie porn...ever. Only if you are a prosecuting attorney and need it as evidence should you even be in possession of it.

Is it really THE WHO - there is only two original members?!?
Maybe Townsend and Daltry shoud go out under a different name.
I hate that they have the nerve to play music in their adds that have parts played by guys that are no longer in the band. They're mis-leading ther cassual fans.

I say boycott THE WHO -

(You Know I'm Kidding - Right?)

I agree its not The Who

Its the Who Brothers

No boycott when we are talking about members passing away

Yep, it's more the Pete & Roger show now. The Who is definitely not the same as they were and haven't been since Keith Moon died in 1978. And when I saw them in 2002 without Entwistle, it was like watching a band that had had both legs knocked off. Entwistle had a unique lead bass style that's not easy to replace. He's definitely missed!
Ash, Now remember Pete was looking at that stuff for "research". Yeah right!

As for Babs, I've always liked her voice and wouldn't mind seeing her. But I do agree 100% with Ash that she's one of a group of celebrities that love to run their mouth about things that they aren't necessarily the best informed about.

There is no reason.,... none... zero to have images of exploited children on your computer. What the fuck kind of "therapy" could that possibly be? And how is it possibly "research". I lost all respect for Townshend after that.

There are no enough offensive words to descibe BS. In fact, I respect Townshend more than her.
