Dennis is on the radio right now. He's actually explaining on how he was kicked out of the band. Very interesting. The radio people think it's all Tommy's fault. Obviously a lot of people don't know the whole story, we know that - LOL
He wishes them well, he's happy!
I loved hearing "Lady", makes me cry!! LOL
He's going to be a guest on the show "Duets" in September.

It's called free exposure to a national audience. I don't think it's that difficult to understand.

Umm so people would see him on TV and think.. wow he really needs to be back in Styx.. Get JY, Tommy and Chuck on the phone!

The notion that you think Dennis needs JY or Tommy or anyone is laughable.
He will be getting the exposure - and the best part is he can't promote himself as Styx because of JY - so the limelight will be on SOLELY on Dennis and not Styx.
Love it JY... live by the sword, die by the sword.

Well, I know some people think any press is good press. But I don't think this show sounds like it is up to DDY's level of "excellence". And many a career/reputation has suffered due to association.

Wow... really? Can you give me an example?
I mean... a guy who was a major star 25 years ago and without a hit song in 15 years being hurt by an hour of free national television exposure with the production team of one of the biggest shows in America? If you think 15 seconds of Mr. Roboto helped him in a VW commercial, how will several minutes of national television exposure on one of the big four networks help. Especially if this show becomes a hit (which seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened).
I'm not seeing the down side really.

The first line only directly related to you - and I was sorta agreeing with your smiley by stating it was laughable. I guess I'm not the only one taking things too seriously eh?

Let's put it another way - they can all function independently, but they work better when as a team even if there is some tension. In fact, when there is (other than BNW), it shows it generally works.

I think the way Ash and Chicago put it is better. I prefer they kept separate.

The problem is Dennis/Tommy/JY haven't worked well togetherr since Paradise Theatre. Why should I believe that would ever change?

At this point, separate or together, we are not going to get the second coming GI, Po8, or PT. At this point I hope for decent.

Actually, I would say the split started to happen post-Po8 (album) and pre-Cornerstone time wise. Cornerstone is as disjointed an effort (although it sounds like Styx) as BNW in my opinion. PT is a unified effort.
